If s1 were the answer to the deezle dilemma we'd all be growin our herm seeds. But even the after cloning and running a 2nd time the average bastard doesn't have the oomph. Whew
Thank you. Grow enough sour and you should have a handful of seeds. Could just be a few per lb of dry Nugg. Germ some, throw into flower. Clone and flower again, then judge results. I've found nice looking plants with a heavy yield. The smell has been muted so I just cancel the program and go back to the original clone version whew

Ive heard a lot about this being the problem. Quick question, why do you think that ecsd is hard to come close in seed form? I've even read and heard about the disasters of rez ibls being sub par. It just baffles me how this particular plant is more of a miss than a hit when it comes to her progeny.
I must say tho that the structure in the s1s sure do look like the clone

From my understanding and this is just what I read on jjnyc's instagram some time ago... He said something along the line of that he doesn't know anything about ecsd and that aj sour diesel is the real deal and that nobody aj did not give out any cuts. That's just what I read

On another note, speaking of dads being one of the potential reasons that she shines so well, doesn't ecsd pair well with sativa fathers usually?? I mean I heard good things about sssdh and the people under the stairs casey jones.

I was wondering the same thing, maybe an outcross is another route. Early Rez sour seemed to be good. I think if you grew enough s1 seed, something would pop.

Underdog aka Original diesel, headband is chemdog 91 clone x northern lights male from early 90's Sensi Seeds. Pheno selected from 100 seed run by The Weasel in Staten Island, NY.
Sour Diesel aka ECSD is 86' Super Skunk from SSSC aka Mass Super Skunk x underdog male. Pheno found from a half pound of seeded herb sold to kids in the Catskills, NY.. It's not clear how many seeds were popped..
