Nice Meta, I hope shes putting up a good stench for ya'! I just threw this plant into flower 4 days ago.I transplanted to 12 gal coco.The pot has 3 plants.This style gives me the most giant retardo buds, a vertical stack with some overheads, she just loads up...although these can be hard to control but it has 4x8ft of space to grow into...

Yes, theres about 2" in the bottom and about 20% in the mix.I grew my best sour with coco and hydroton mixed, a good friend of mine who does very well uses 50% perlite with his coco.I havn't tried that yet but I know it works great. This is gonna be a whopper.

. Nice grows everyone, ecsd is something special. I had her running for years until about a year ago. I've been running the Deathstar clone which is ECSD x Sensi Star, it's some real fire everyone needs to experience. Very strong smoke. I've also been running the Chemdawg D, she's a real lanky bitch though. This thread has me craving the ecsd now. I just popped some Sour D IBL, I'm hoping to find something close to the ecsd I have my fingers crossed.

if you dont find a proper female in the beans you pop, dont freak;
run the clones you make of the females again, because thats how i found my KEEPER. Rez even suggests that you gotta run the clones to be sure of what you got.
i almost didnt do that, and kept the wrong plant. then i decided to run all the fems(3) again straight from well rooted clone and bammmmm. perfect representation of the clone-only. the one i thought was a keeper was actually very NYCD dom, and i only ran the clones out and didnt propagate that pheno again.
anyway, just thought i would let you in on that, in case you didnt know.
to update my sourD status; got a 5K going, 3k which is 24 sourD ibl's, all vegged for around 20 days, using BLUMATS from day one of veg, and i gotta say OH MY GOD. these blumats are giving me results as good or better than RDWC, and im astounded. 8 plants per 1k, and only halfway through stretch they are twice as big any other sour i have previously grown, with similar veg times. rocking nutes 2/3-3/4 strength, trellised out with a 4' x 12' frame w standard horti-trellis. the sour is a plant that greatly benefits from topping; 24 plants with 8+ baseball bat sized colas is a real sight to see, i might break down and throw up a few picks of this grow, i really want all y'all to see this insanity.
the other 2k is Chem ibl, orig. skunk #1, blueberry and a cheese tester.

Yeah, this is the way I'm going. It's the best way to grow if your not doing hydro. This is organic hydro. I have Hydroton, but I'll be using perlite in about the same ratio; you can really maximize your feeding. But I can't see growing this way if I do any real production. I'm kind of hesitant about having to dispose of medium every month. Maybe I'm wrong.

I have a pile of coco in my backyard 7ft high.The worms show up very fast.I bury all my garbage there between coco layers, leaf and stems etc..it is a pain.I just ran a huge Casey Jones in straight coco using only organic ferts.It was more of a pain than a reg GH routine and the plant yellowed out faster but I had to try it, straight Budswell and seaweed with some of that Super Tea mixed in too, obviously not enough but people tell me the CJ yellows out fast.
