easy fellas....not doing so good anymore. We're into week 5 of flower and pheno's 1 and 2 are looking like nothing I have ever seen in my garden, anyone got any ideas? stress? mites? temps? ph? Pheno 3 is looking sort of ok and 4 is a bit behind these in flower time. This has got me stumped, a different strain girl flowered at the same time is'nt showing any of this almost re-veg look I am getting....used to things going pretty smoothly so it's a little panic stations at the moment people, have a look...........

Hi Womble,
I have the same problem with two of my plants, they also are in the fifth week of flower and it started so slowly, that it was difficult to say, when it did.
I'm so lucky to have another bushy plant that has no problems, like all the other plants in my grow. Both sssdh s1 are the biggest plants and I have to
take care a lot about them not growing in the direction of the lamp. So staying very near to the lamp was one point and the other one was, we had a
longer heatwave here and it was hard to stand for everybody, incl. the plants. They did a great job those days and got more water in shorter distances,
so they all got through the heatwave, which is gone now since two days. Both together, the hot place near to the light and the high temps° from outside
stressed the plants a lot and were the reason for getting those tops. Now after placing them better and with much cooler temps°, I can see, how they
try to hold the leafes up and to get everythings okay. I dont know, if something will stay at the tops from this situation, but with a little time they should
get much bigger and will discvover that little problem from the fifth week.
I hope, we can look at some nice tops with a lot of buds soon...

As a note of encouragement to Womble, the sour never stacks early, rather swells late. The folks who revere sour d will also say she really shines in cooler temps. Finally, hot days in flower don't always count as days closer to harvest, but just time spent stunted and waiting to resume progress. Hoping cooler temps coincide with crucial late flowering homie!

If you decide to sample a nug, a mini smoke report would tickle me to death...but this isn't the infirmary! Very well peace

yeah OJD definitely temps have played a part in their demise, but we move forward and hold out hope for these undoubted mind fondlers to come correct!

Hi Womble, its been about a week ago, that you wrote about your problems, which may have been heat stress. I wanted to ask you,
if you if the plants are looking better now and what you think about it. I can tell you, that my plants are doing better now after the
heatwave is gone, they def. had some trouble building nice buds in the heat. Now they have started slowly to fill in the parts, where
they had problems before. To cover the parts of the buds with new flowers will need a little bit time, but thats okay, its much more
important for me that they try to recover. A big help is a healthy plant, just to see what is possible and what not and it is good to
compare the phenos. One positive thing that all my sssdh's have got in the last weeks is the wonderful resin on every flower and the
little leafes transporting that special sssdh smell of lemon and fuel, sour or hazy. I love it...

hit the nail on the head jochen, I've barely spoken to these girls since our 'heatwave', lots of filthy looks, shaking of the head and plenty of tutting going on....it's not like me bro I love the ladies and they love me a bit like LL Cool J I spose but not if you catch my drift

Gonna do a proper update over the weekend, got lots on but, here is pheno 3, starting to come correct at last :dance013:

Pheno 2 is also recovering nicely but alas, pheno 1 had to hit the bin-bag, the cuts are nearly ready for switch so I was'nt too bothered about keeping her around, taking forever to liven up.. trust me.

Good news, I will watch your update and show in my own update a plant, that had the same problems. The buds
on your picture look so good again, very nice, only at the leafes you can see it a little bit, when you know it. I'm
very happy to hear and to see your plants are feeling good again, my plants are on the right way again, too.
I think we will meet at the weekend, showing our updates, until than have a good time.....:ying:

OK.... looking at yours, mine do look a little shitty in comparison, with the claw and all :bigeye: Your S1's are looking fantastic Jochen, it's gotta be said :respect:
Mine seem to be fattening up considerably without feed just water at the moment and having recently updated my ventilation requirements to deal with the heat that we have at the moment, I think we're gonna be just fine come harvest time...pics a little later on

Hey Womble, wait until you see my other plants, this is one of the nice pictures, I haven't shown them until now.
Today I want to show my next update and I will make the pictures and load them up later. So you are able to see
what the damage looks like at my plants, you are not alone with it.
Thats the risk we take growing through the summer, but looking at the last years, it was the first time, I was a
little bit unlucky. On the other side, from all my plants only the two sssdh showed such a heatstress. When I hear,
you still have a problem with the heat, I can only wish you some rainy days with a lot of wind, but man, that sucks,
I can understand your situation very good, that's something you really dont need in a testgrow.
Okay, we will hear from each other later....:ying:

I know from a good friend how hot it was in the UK, I live in germany and here it is a little bit better since a week.
So much about the heatwave, I just wanted to tell you, Womble, I have done my update and have shown two pics
at the end of the post, where you can clearly see, what was going on. The leafes are still curly and others look very
droopy, but the buds are trying to get dense again and I hope for some good ones. Have a look at them, they looked
as bad as yours on the picture you showed us.
It will come to an good end, believe me and relax, thats the best we can do, I think.

apologies for doing a shalamar on this test run and indeed on the Mag itself.

Some pics of a couple of phenos from this run that went a little haywire with the temps but we ended up with some well above average herb to blaze upon....still got a jar to get through....shit's so strong it's really hard to build up a tolerance to, and most definitely NOT a wake and baker, not for me anyway!
Much respect OJD for throwing these my way and giving fellow growers a chance to grow and taste some UK mind fondling business....respect for that!!
