ECSD at 74 days, and I'm gettin' antsy!!

BC does what he does, quite well! plain and simple. but I think we can all see this..lol

ECSD is great overall imo.. I had CBFs cuts and Samples. never got to grow her out tho..
Ive never grown Rez 'IBL' either.. mabey someday..

BC, man as always yer doing a great job! I diddnt know you had ECSD goin!
Some folks will always advise you to add on pot size.. while I agree it can be an improvement, many lines preform quite well in smaller containers. as you are showing, ECSD is one of them.
Jamaican Jam was one that I could push out 3-4 oz easy in 2 gallon pots. whereas many Indica lines Its Law for me to up the size of containers.

lovely colors on those. You seem to have a way of bringing out the best in any line Ive seen in yer garden. big props. Id say keep it going, but I know you will!

that is a stunnin plant, but for whatever reason BC the thin fans around the bud isnt lookin right to me.

since Rez began his sourD project there are loads of sourD plants around that growers got cuts of and there told its the original.

my first cut(one bubs talkin about) i was told it was the original, had it for a few years. was told it originated with katsu, recently i aquired another cut, have three four runs with it, and the bud matches samples i got from CrazyC who i know does have the original. and it matches all the pics i see from Rez and his crew. this cut i have now came from zilla and crew.

i know as well as you do that plants, as far as there buds can look different between runs, but one thing ive noticed are the fans are tellin the story on the SD, short phat leaf, not long sativa/thinner leaf.


never can tell though, heres a pic of a plant i just finished that was hit with cool temps all through flower, and ya can see theres no purple leaf, original sour will not purp, just slightly in the little bud leaf. at least thats my experience.

yeah BC has the skills, his is real beefy. not stirrin no shit, his plant just looked off is all.

yeah Smokey good to see you bro, and yeah that IBL has the sameO bud structure for sure, i just dont get those thin fans. the V!/V2 plant (no clue as to what it really was) i had earlier had the thinner leaf, and lots more of um.

its all good, cause really i liked the other plant much more, as it had better aromas and taste, and initially hit harder if ya can believe that. hopefully a good buddy still has that cut and can get it back.

Beancounter's plant can be traced as far back as around the time of Rez's initial offering and has been sampled by those that definetly had/have the original cut. They say its the same. FWIW, my grow of the same cut looks nothing like what Beancounter is showing here... I'm fucking stunned! Those are perhaps the best Sour D/ECSD pics I've ever seen, certainly blows mine away.

I too had cold temps and got zero colors other than the norm.

It must be said, where I live, we are having the coldest temps we've had for about 50 yrs.. at one point (I would guess about 45-50 days), my grow room temps dropped below 45 lights on, and have struggled to stay above 60 lights on ever since.. yesterday it was 54... lights out temps have gotten down to freezing at some point i'm sure of it, that's when my pipes burst in there about a month ago..

My 1st ECSD had no colour aswell, and as you can see, it did look much dif..

I hear ya on the ECSD doesn't colour thing, but it seems Rez got his to purple up.. Without seeing Rez's full plant shots it's hard to say if they purple in the same way, or to the same extent.. Maybe he can chime in and tell us how purple his got..


as kheph said, this cut's been around, and many have 'verified' the finished buds off it.. Thanks again kheph, she's def one of my faves so far.


With all that being said, I'm already working to aqure WZ's cut, and should have it soon to compare side by side..

I'm all about double checking stuff to be 100% sure, and only this run with her has given me some doubt.. I'm pretty sure it's jus the extrme enviromental differences effecting phenotype we're seeing mostly, but I do wanna be sure, and will definately report back with my findings..

Here's a cola i took at 78 days.. It's the one cola that got a lil bit light bleached and was falling closer and closer to the light, so i took her like the dirty girl she was.. Snapped a few pics of her just before trimming..
