EC Autotomation

Can I get a premade ec automation setup anyware?
I'm using a 3 bottle fertilizer (bloom, grow, micro) so it would need 3 pumps.
I'm thinking something like the pH nanny, but for EC

Highly doubtful unless you were looking to spend some serious serious cash. Too impossible to detect which part of the nutrient mix would need to be injected - since the EC is a total sum vs individual nute readings.

I'm not looking for so hi-tec, if it would just ad a preset amount of each (1 part No.1/1,5 part No.2/0.5 part No.3) for example, until you have a preset ec level. That would be sufficient!
Summer and all,it's to hard to come home just to fill the rez :)

Hmmm... Ok, so you're not looking for something to actually monitor/dose the EC... just something to add more nutes at a set time?

Sounds like a simple top-off rez with a floater would fix your issue. Premix up the top-off water to match what is already in the main rez...

Major problem with this is you could easily have your EC climb to crazy levels - if the plants drink more water than use nutes, the topoff would keep adding not only water but nutes as well.

No,sorry,I'm not to good at expressing my self in English. I want something to top the nutes, water will be added as used by plants. Im looking for a set up that I don't have to check on to often. Basically, water added automatically when water level drops, pH nanny keeping pH at check, but need something to top up the nutes as used by plants...
Don't know if its a good idea to premix the nutes, and just add the mix when EC goes down..?

So basically the best way to achieve this is by adding more water.

Let's say you have a single 5gal DWC setup (since you didnt say what you're setup was)

First way to get this to a lower maintenance schedule is to add another rez...or recirc DWC. Just get a 20gallon rubbermaid rez, a water pump, fittings, etc and you're set. For more info on specifics, check out Blazeoneup's recirc DWC thread. Your setup would/would not be as big, but it'll give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

So let's say you did the above. It would change your water from 5gallons to 25 gallons. You can obviously see the benefits, as you would only need to adjust the solution 1/5th as often as you do now.

Now if you knew you would be away for a week you could always make the nutrient EC a little lower, anticipating the fact that you wouldnt be there to top it off.

Lastly, if you want the longer term... add ANOTHER rez on top of that one and attach a top-off floater valve (also in blaze's thread). Now you would have 25 gallons of nuted water and 20gallons of plain water. You could probably leave this thing for 2 weeks without an issue...hahaha

I'm hoping to run a setup with 8*2gallon dwc and having rez of 20gal, but that needs maintenens every 2 days! so i want it to bee more maintenance free. Have the 20 gal rez automatically toped up with nutes and water and pH kept stabil...

exactly... so add another 20gal as a top off rez and problem solved.

If not, I'm outta answers as what it looks like you want is 'something' that will keep your rez in perfect condition.... it's called hired help. :)

Heheheh, but I'm to paranoid for outsiders.... I all ready have a problem with ec going up as well as pH.what about having a topup rez with low ec and low pH to keep the main rez (kind off)stabilized..?

You need a $1,500 device called the Intellidose. Google it and click on the bghydro link near the top. Spendy but it will do what you desire...
