I am pretty sure that he was alluding ill will towards Lil' Billy. It amazes me when his foundation is applauded for throwing a few million around to various charities. This MFer has the resources to do some amazing shit for mankind.

I would like to think that if I had that kind of money I would solve some shit. Well, the smart people I hired would solve some shit.

Yea i wouldnt count on him doing it. He cant make his own company do amazing things.

They are pretty good at putting out what appears to be a good solution until you try to use it and become dumb founded that things that should be basic features are an after thought or completely left out.

I came here to maybe edit my post, because I felt I was hard on billy the man, saying he contributed to the problems we have on earth.

it seems that I am not alone that felt strange about the donations

I feel like sometimes I play the blame game, blame the rich, blame those

I feel it's a bit of a loser's/poor man's mentality (now that I thought about it, sort of angry mob mentality)
like concentrating on problems instead of solutions

Sometimes I will write some things and then think about them and then change my mind

you can feel stupid sometimes, but the best is when people let you make mistakes and tell you if they think you went to far

Volunteering for that one way trip to Mars is sounding more appealing everyday.

So, is this ebola thing going to play out like all the other Government 'conspiracies? Where there is just enough evidence to say "WTF, really" but not enough evidence to pin it as an 'evil plot'. We will probably never know.

I hope there is another Snowden type person that has 'the smoking gun'. There are too many questionable events that have not been explained to my satisfaction.

i was under the impression that going to mars.. that list.. costed 100,000 per person?

maybe im wrong but i thought thats what i read.

Fighting the system?

I can guarantee that there is a different agenda going on here than fighting the system. I have no idea what it is, but she is a trained "intelligence officer" for the CDC. Check out pages 138-139 for her graduation picture included in the CDC "Epidemic Intelligence Service" conference flyer from 2013. Oh, and by the way, her roommate from Africa is now symptomatic with ebola.

+1 to rives comment

It would appear that we have another ebola tourist, this time in Portland, OR. Awfully convenient to come down with 'something' right after 'moving' from god damned Liberia!

I believe we are going to start seeing more cases here in the States after the mid-terms next week. But dont worry, I am sure big pharma has something for it. Dolla-Dolla bills y'all.

Experts: Worst-case U.S. Ebola scenario 130 cases by end of 2014

Infectious disease experts predict anywhere from a mere one or two additional cases of Ebola to a worst-case scenario of 130, according to simulations conducted for the Associated Press.

Almost all of the predicted cases will be healthcare workers returning from West Africa.

"I don't think there's going to be a huge outbreak here, no," Dr. David Relman, a professor of infectious disease, microbiology and immunology at Stanford University's medical school, told the AP. "However, as best we can tell right now, it is quite possible that every major city will see at least a handful of cases."

A total of eight patients have currently been treated for Ebola in the U.S.

Only two of them contracted Ebola within the U.S., and both were healthcare workers who treated Thomas Eric Duncan, who contracted Ebola in Liberia.
Both nurses recovered and have been released.

Dominic Smith, a pandemic risk expert, ran a simulation for the AP that projected 15 to 130 cases in the U.S. before the end of the year.

Another expert, Northeastern University professor Alessandro Vespignani, is more worried about the disease making its way to Asia.

"My worry is that the epidemic might spill into other countries in Africa or the Middle East, and then India or China. That could be a totally different story for everybody," he said.

There have been a total of nearly 14,000 total cases of Ebola. Nearly 5,000 have died of the virus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

‘ENTIRE VILLAGES DISAPPEARED’: EBOLA DEATHS IN SIERRA LEONE ‘UNDERREPORTED’
Ebola’s toll on Sierra Leone is much greater than previously thought, with entire villages killed off by the virus

Ebola’s toll on Sierra Leone is much greater than previously thought, with entire villages killed off by the virus. This means up to 20,000 people could have succumbed to the disease by now, a senior coordinator for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) believes.

According to Rony Zachariah, coordinator of operational research for MSF, the Ebola impact on Sierra Leone is in fact “under-reported,” AFP quotes.

“The situation is catastrophic. There are several villages and communities that have been basically wiped out. In one of the villages I went to, there were 40 inhabitants and 39 died,” Zachariah told the agency.“Whole communities have disappeared but many of them are not in the statistics. The situation on the ground is actually much worse.”
The latest figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) put the total number of dead at 4,951 out of 13,567 recorded cases.

But the real total could be up to 20,000 people dead, Zachariah argues. “The WHO says there is a correction factor of 2.5, so maybe it is 2.5 times higher and maybe that is not far from the truth. It could be 10,000, 15,000 or 20,000.”

Zachariah also highlighted the shortage of healthcare workers in the country.

“You have one nurse for 10,000 people and then you lose 10, 11, 12 nurses. How is the health system going to work?” he said.

Even at this point, the pace of dealing with Ebola is slow, he added. “We might get a vaccine and a treatment…but even now we need to go much faster because the clock is ticking…We want action now.”

Meanwhile, the latest cases of Ebola in Spain and the US have sparked fears of an even bigger outbreak, prompting Canada to step up its border security so as to limit the risk of infection spreading into the country.

The federal government announced on Friday it is suspending the processing of visa applications for residents and nationals who have been in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone in the last three months. The same goes for permanent residence applications.

The Spanish government has expressed grave concern over the threat of terrorists using Ebola as a biological weapon against the West.

Spain’s state secretary for security, Francisco Martinez, addressed the parliament, discussing the possibility of extremists connected to the Islamic State (IS, previously ISIS) using Ebola as a weapon against the West.

There are “many examples” of online terrorist chat logs discussing the use of biological warfare against the West, Spain’s RTVE public broadcasting corporation reported.
