Aroma-3 from
Old Mate Designs

AROMA-3

Decent size and much easier on my hands and torn rotator cuff
Stainless steel with black grips that allow you to put it down on a flat stable surface and grind with one hand
Some bad experiences with cheap grinders
Prices are in AUS $$

I stopped using grinders a few years ago. I find I get joints that taste better, to the end of the joint if I just use scissors or even break it up by hand. Some larger chunks are the key, it stops some of the heat from moving so far down the joint and vaping off all the terps before you can smoke that part. It definitely makes a difference.

Also, I never liked losing all the kief from grinding it. I'd definitely not use a coffee grinder, neither blade type or a mill, for different reasons. Blade types just do a great job separating your resin heads, and making a nice mix of dust and weed chunks... not great. And a mill is even worse, as they literally just smash everything to a set size. Great for coffee beans, not so much for weed with fragile resin heads.

I would agree, the bigger "chunks" hold more moisture and regulate the burn better from my experience
Used a pair of bandage scissors with the rounded blade guard at the end
But time and hard labor have taken their toll on my hands
Grinders are my only choice for flower
