Fortunately it's day 75 for the last plants in my tents. Lights out for a day then chop.

I do need to get this ac situation sorted out badly tho. Gotta flip the next batch in a week or two.

Any recent experience with dual hose portables anyone? In my current situation I cannot really use a window banger as intended (I have to duct it up to use like a portable). And I need to upgrade a bit from this 8k.
I know the consensus generally is that they suck. But is it worse than turning a window unit into a ducted robot and running it not as intended?

star when all else fails on the broadmites. kontos an then biphenthrine. treat every 5-7 days for 3-4 weeks. then every other week. an like you said, clean an bleach EVERYTHING!!. plan on last treatment 2 weeks before start of flowering

they really are that bad Trych !!!! i've got a 12k btu sitting here , the only thing its good for is a dehuey ....

Build a box for the back end of that window unit, put 2 8" ducts into it with a 8" duct booster fan on one of them pulling out of the box, discharging out the window, intake 8" hose can follow same route, no fan and tie to opposite side of window. You really just need to maintain plenty of airflow across that outdoor portion of the unit and it will work fine.... On, and condensate, need that going some where.

I've seen it done and have done once myself for short term usage and I'd rather have a cheap modified window unit for 50 used than a new portable for 250.... I know 1 will work just fine, lol..

My fault. I meant 8k btu. Yes. 2k. 600 veg. And a 6 bulb t5 in the closet. Only 1 of the 1k is on at a time. So I'm cooling the 1k, my and t5 I reversed my ducting to help noise outside. I'll take a pic in a sec

is that a window right behind the ac & radiator ??? why aren't you using that ??
the intake & exhaust from a window AC is on the outside of the window , the AC unit itself just circulates the room air & cools it , you can put a carbon filter on the inside where the dust filter is & that will help scrub any that might escape ,plus theres usually a vent that can be open or closed to outside air . the scrubbers in your room should be adequet enough to control the stink . if not .... then replace them .

how i do it. the a/c collection bucket (3gal) suspended with a bungee) has a metal collar, mounted over a 4.25" hole. the collar is the kind used on old grow tents. they come 4 & 6" with some bolts.

i removed the line for the floor vent in the basement. in the winter it ducts fresh air to the basement. i never shut this vent down. keep an extra 4" fan too. i duct cold air through the floor (never smoking on this floor. no plants, no trimming. ionize 2 time a day. and use a kennmore floor air purifyer).

i also pull with a 4" fan running on a duct muffy ...using those metal collars again from grow tents.

a 5 gal bucket duxt muffy keeps it all very quiet.

see the line all chilly....buuurrrr muthafuck that sun blasting on my roof.

where u see that tent on the side, i flower there now too.

Triangle Kush x Chaquita Banana testers from Hammer............got right at a week or so until they get their own flower tent (TnT testers finishing soon freeing up tent).....I am getting a little better at judging timing now so not off by too far. With some training and all those two should fill up a 3 x 3. No signs of any hermie issues so far.

Dans. - lol. It is a window. The problem is it's maybe 15 feet from The sidewalk. I don't want to run an ac all the time out that window yet. Too sussy.
In a month I'll probably use a window unit as intended. But I still need a now and winter solution

Plus my landlord has a friend that lives down the block. So there's that.

As for the vent. Idk anything about that. But as far as I can tell there is very little negative pressure from the fan. My door doesn't really pull open. So it isn't pulling much. And yeah. I have plenty of scrubbing power

yes. single. been doing it like this for 5 years. works real good. not super low night temps. but keeps my flowers sexy in the summer.

I really like that #1 too, Americangrower. She has two main colas just like that then a dozen good size ones a little lower down..
Most dense flowers I've had the pleasure of squeezing... no give what so ever.. Hurts to touch lol.
