Cool !!! the buds aren't super fat , but they look dense as hell & covered with Frost
56 day finish is rare , not surprised its a keeper !
Yes 8 weeks and a potency that can hold its own against pretty much anything, which is a rare combination.
No the buds don't get huge, it has a very strange structure it produces like 3 sizes of buds, I kind of like it because it breaks down nice makes better bag appeal then chopping up a huge log of bud like you get with many large cola'd strains. They do go super dense like little rocks, it's hard to tell from the pic, but that plant yields quite a bit because it branches out like crazy, you end up with hundreds of bud sites on a plant thats like 4' tall.
I run it all the time and know this plant well, I'd say last run was better. When done perfectly I have nothing to trim.
It's very stinky somewhat sweet with a hint of floral, not floral like flowers but very specifically floral like rose water.
Taste is hard to describe.
As for similarities to other strains, I have honestly never grown anything like it. It grows buds similarly to OG Kush, but I dont believe it has any relation to OG. It clones very easily and any OG or OG hybrid I have ever grown is hard to clone.
That's where the similarities end. Smell, taste, high and growth characteristics put it in a category by itself, not to mention the 8 week flowering time, I've seen many strains claim to be 8 weekers but are never really 8 weekers in reality, this one is truly finished in 8 weeks.
Im growing an s1 of it now, it veg stem rub is straight skunk I cant wait to see it flowered out.

The smoke I got off the few I originaly cracked were def on the orange side of the spectrum, but by no means a true orange terp phenos. Most of what I flowered were more leaning on a hashy flavor with some orange/fruity undertones,, grew similiar to what you describe as your #5. They were all ok,, good smoke,, but not what I was looking for at the time. Yours are looking great,, cant wait to hear what you find.hehe that's what we call them.
i haven't had the pleasure of smoking LUI and this is my first run with these.
we're looking for a plant with orange terps with an indica effect for the garden, so we selected for only orangey expressions. #1 is my favorite she's sweet orange and just a big awesome plant that never complained about shit and is gonna give a nice yield of frosty sticky icky.
#5 is all weird and branchy and potentially the lowest yielder of her sisters, but she looks fuckin nuts! so i'm excited to give her a smoke test and see what she's about.
2--4 were all slightly less impressive less vigorous versions of #1, still gonna be great smoke tho.

Yea, I'm always looking for some original Lui beens. The originals I cracked were gifted to me from the guy who originally bought and ran half the pack. he found 2 keepers and gave the remaining few to me. Only a cpl germinated if i remember correctly and they just wern't what the guy I got them off found. He was tight with his cut and I was never able to coax him to give me oneWhat you probably need to find is some original Legends Ultimate Indica seeds. I have some that are at f6 at this point...should be some goodies in there fer sure.

I actually have no idea what it is or what genetics it's comprised of. I persobally have grown probably 100 strains and have never had anything like it in regards to smell and taste and growth pattern.
I don't think it's related to anything I have grown before. I'm growing an s1 now and the s1 in veg looks very different. Time will tell a little more about it.
To me it reminds me of old Skool bud like from the 90's the buds are so sticky it sticks to the bag but has that classic weed smell of the good bags we'd get in the 90s.this would be the old kind bud.

Over the years I was always looking for some stud males,, but nevr really found anything worthwhile until I popped nevils and golden tiger (both at the same time amazingly). Both males were pretty covered with trics by week 2 of veg with only a few sets of leaves on them. By week 4,, the nevils was coated,, and when it showed signs of a male,, I knew I had something special. The nevils male i call mr. is amazing,, everything he touched seemed to create fire,, be it on purpose or accidental.

It looks a little different than mine but it is a highly plausible guess, especially since mine gets little tinges of pink/purple on the buds which could come from the blueberry in the LSD genetics. I really have no way to ever know what it really is but LSD is a definite possibility.
Here is a pic that shows more of the plant, this is just part of the plant but you can see the lanky floppy structure similar to yours.
