Easiest way to make hash! Quick Wash ISO!

Hey you guys, I did my first outdoor run and have a plant (91 Chem Dawg) that got hit with some Botrytis (mold). Not real bad, just a few buds got it.

Is there any use for this...I mean can I make hash out of it using this method? My thinking is that the alcohol will kill any live spores that may be present in the buds. I hate to waste this.

Yeah I've been told both BHO and alcohol are acceptable uses for molded bud etc, make sure you filter the shit out of it (I'd do 3 layers of paper towels, pour it through, then do it again with fresh paper towels) and then heat it to purge it.

I also did a "warm purge" where a pan of alcohol was set on the stove and heated for a minute, then off, then a couple minutes later heat it again. Keeping the alcohol warm-hot but not letting it bake dry on the stove. It sped up the evaporation quite a bit, and the end product was still powdery instead of gooey. When the alcohol gets low in the pan stop heating it so it doesn't melt the thc, if that's your thing.

just made my first and second batch of Qwiso out of my very first cannabis harvest! and my first hash brownies ever!

three washes total produced 3 nuggets. (2) 1 gram hash nuggets, and one 2.2 gram hash nugget.

I used one 1 gram for 6 cupcake style brownies. sprinkled the shaven hash into already poured brownies, baked at 325F for 22 minutes.

done.

so for a first time has browny experience it was amazing! no pain, pure relaxation. about to eat a stronger one right now.

I am so very happy I have another way to medicate!

Neither alcohol or butane will kill the spores.

Before you evaporate off your alcohol, use a syringe filter to filter to 0,2 microns and it will remove all spores, mold material, and bacteria.

You will have to rough filter it first of course, but the narrow dimension on botrytis is only about 8 microns, so something with a pore size smaller than that is required.

Melts is not the same as vaporizes. THC vaporizes at MUCH higher temperatures, 380*F if I recall.

this thread is a bad idea i recomend people stay out. somewear in this thread there was mention of having trouble walking. Now i truley understand! the best way to descrope(damn)...i mean describe... thisits(shit).. this high is, its not like fall down drunk but more like my head is floating and attached to my body on a string. i must maintain my bodys upright posture by floating in one direction or the other. or else my body will sway to fall (crap) FAR to one side and i will fa... fall over

oh and typing is really freaking difficult!

i've been smoking since april 20th of 2000 so im by far a newbie.. how ever this shit made me feel like one, i've smoked a very oily hash before along with some press but this shit! whooo! dawg!

I just made a little batch from between1/4 and 1/2 O of some compressed stuff and it came out pretty well.

probably my 4th or 5th time making it, so I'm finally washing for 10-15 seconds (at most) instead of 30+ seconds. I did 3 washes and combined the results. Evapped it off outside using hot water around a pyrex dish. Just wiped a paper on it and filled with enough tobacco to give it time to burn.
nice quick ripped feeling.

What doesn't scrape out of the dish relatively easily, I rinse with a couple tablespoons (roughly) of ISO and soak some tobacco in it, so its basically ready to smoke and carry around a little more discretely.

I like ice hash a little better,easier for me to dose correctly, but this is some nice stuff too

so denatured alcohol works the same as ISO? because iso is kind of hard to find in big quantities, and denatured would be as easy as going to Home Depot or Lowes ...

HAH HA! i followed directions to a key and had great success. i used about a 1/2 oz of stems and got about a quarter gram. not much but this shit is no joke... i had a hard time even writing this post

I think they use a rice cooker in the Rick Simpson Oil DYI. Im sure glass is the best for scraping. I always air dry and then heat it up in a small pyrex dish on a coffee cup warmer.
I really didnt notice any difference before and after warming.

for anyone doing it on a gas stove the key is heating up the water and then turning the flame off when you put the plate on the pot.

So after reading this thread, and having a bunch of trim suddenly fall into my hands. I used 15g of G13 popcorn buds no leaves,sissored it and into the jar. Half cup ISO for 15 seconds. But tending to not wanting to wait as it was filtering I applied some pressure at the end. It had more cloro than it other wise would have. I used a hair dryer to purge, took about an hour. A week later and its very thick, but it won't roll into a ball. Now, the smoke kicks my ass man I can type for squat here's the pic's.

Hi everyone - well I hate to sound stupid, but here goes: I don't have any glass jars. What is wrong with using a big Ziplock bag? Too many trichs left in the bag when you pour it out?

Assuming you all talk me out of that, what about a plain old drinking glass...cover with a folded up piece of wax paper and clamp down on it with my hand to hold in place while I shake it up?
