The EJ worked great outdoors again this summer combo'D with dry topdress'S.

the seablast must be really new, all the new stuff is hard to find w/o ordering & that usally kills the deal. So not many using much else but the old line & hi-brix from what im feelin'..

Shame really ?

YOOO, I have not been in here in a very long time. But quick question, does the hi brix go bad? i bought 2.5 gallons of it last summer, and it has been sitting in the garage since.

Tact, I got real tired of mixing, and it just was not working. But honestly, I miss the taste I get from the EJ, so I am going to start running organic again. Thanks a lot dude.

been mixing it up by getting my fix juicing outside crops. :)

got some rabbits & chickens recently which is pretty cool, they eat scraps like machines & produce some excellent manure.

it should really boost my compost & plants.

Hey all, just thought I'd check in... still rockin' the EJ, still looking for the "perfectly healthy" plant... I'm getting close, though! This is my last crop:

Getting better all the time. :)

Same here.

I don't understand the wild PH fluctuations and how to deal with it. I just watered with nutrient solution of 4.8 and couldn't get the runoff under 7.1..

I've tried bubbling the solution for 24 hours and it's done absolutely nothing to change the PH. I'm using the full EJ line w 10/ml blackstrap.

Another interesting observation.. when I first opened the bottles a few weeks ago and started using the stuff it would foam like crazy when I bubbled it. Now there is hardly any foam. Im using dechlord LA tap water.

Can anyone familiar with EJ help me on this? My normal runoff has been around 7.3 with a solution of 6.3. Im using FF Ocean Forrest. All the plants are showing signs of lockout and I have no idea what I can do to resolve this.

I have not had any luck with earthjuice this year, 4 years ago awsome now, not so much. My new bottle of Grow first just clear liquid came out so i put the lid on and shook it hard for like 10 min then it was like water with little specks of dirt in it. I thought it was like muddy brown water not clear with specks.
any way IK always get burned leave even when I use like 1/4 strength. switched to ACT smooth sailn sice. what am i missing?

Glad to see you held strong & rode it out brother FinestKind.

The plant gods have rewarded you with great knowledge & ability.

Using EJ will teach you alot about the plant, its soil, & all that other earthy cool stuff if ones patient.

EJ does settle out badly but grow should be thick, brown & earthy stinky, unless they did major changes. maybe return that one.

That LA tap water - YUK - head to the hills bro, get away. That stuff is treated with some nasty chem poison via mafia gov paid by brainwashed poisoned tax slave sheeple.

Same with very small town water supply.

Resist the devils.

Did you add additional lime to the oyster shells in your ffof? Not sure this would explain your 7.3 runoff but I had the issue of my ph settling hard at 7 if I added too much d lime to an already ph'ed soil mix and I had nute issues after the ph settled a few weeks after I would transplant. This issue is brought up in the virtues of d lime sticky.

Glad to see you are still helping on your thread.

My issue with EJ is a high pH. I'm using FFOF with about 30% perlite and 10% worm castings, with 1-2 TBS of dolomite lime per gal of soil mix.
I did make the mistake early on when the FFOF nutes began to weaken and I began EJ at about week 5 of veg, vegged for 50 days. I made the mistake of using EJ pH up. I did this 2-3 feds and brought it up to 7 or more thinking it would get me to a good soil pH not remembering that a good soil with EJ will pH itself. I always pH when just using water but so far other then the last watering I have always been feeding light to medium strength.

I check pH runoff, not sure if this is accurate in organics. It has been a steady 7.5 since week 5 or 6.

I'm at day 14 in flower(calculated from first sign of white pistils) about day 23 since 12/12 switch. pH is still 7.5 when checking runoff and plants show signs of what I believe is overfeeding on lower and medium height fans. Slowly moving up.
I also have 3 plants in same soil mix but using the non-organic FoxFarms lineup and those are easy as pie to keep right at 6.5.

So I have to assume I may be overfeeding and that maybe those first feeds where I used EJ pH up screwed up my pH off the bat. The two EJ fed plants are indicas(thc bomb and DeFendu Fruit) and compared to the three FF plants they are and have always been lighter green overall. I know this can be strain related but I find the contrast between them very noticeable.

I can throw up pics if needed, but I'm mainly concerned with the high pH as this may be the "root" of my problem.

I added humic acid from week 4-6, not sure if this is a help or hinder. I usually quit the humic and fed molasses from week 5 to week 7-8 of flower before short mini flush.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

ps-As for the stink. Bloom and Catalyst stink like vomit to me.
As for the city water remark, where I am it sits at a steady 125 ppm and the annual report I got says it greatly exceeded every fed regulation. Not that a pat on the back from the feds ever helped anyone, usually the opposite. But it's damn good water so I use it.

Hybrid1,
Is the water you use de-chlorinated? Are you using EJ Microblast? Do you know what the pH of your soil is, and what it was before you added lime? -granger

The only question I have about this is: is the water chlorinated? Because if it is, it will kill whatever beneficial microbes you are able to propagate, as this is what chlorine in the water is designed to do. So, whether or not the water is considered "safe for drinking" by the feds, it can still be bad for use with organics.
