Just checked out your strawberry thread very nice!
I'm hopeing for a bud that size but i might have to wait till next round.


Took some tote pics these girls are ready and waitin for some boxes and hps!



And day 43 for the closet starting to get some real yellowing in the bottom.
Probably going to estimate 60 -65 days but i'm in no rush only gettin bigger!!

And out of the light she's really streching and will need a transplant within the week.
I'm thinking about a 5gal pail but its depending on the height of my boxes for next round.
And also sd gets pretty tall so i'll be pruneing even in a short container.
But i have to do somthing soon maybe a tote.... worked good for everthing else
I'm going to try to update often during the next couple wks anyone who knows prime harvest tips let me know still no scope and probably no money till next round
Gonna have to play it by eye

Hey all!

Found some really nice spots for some afgany seeds
Haven't really done much been workin alot and working on my lot.
Think i'm gonna have to get a headlamp and work nights puttin out plants.
The plants in the coldframe are suffering from being rootbound in 16oz cups.


Some plants that aren't suffering are my seedlings and clones in the tote!


Thats only three days ago

And thats tonight they have grown daily!
Roots all the way to the bottom already!
The tote stays 78 all the time and the two hoyts cfl lights are great.
Haven't watered since transplant and they're just starting to send roots to find water so i'll probably water wendsday.


The closet is showing some good color The untopped plant and 6pk are leading the way with some purpleish leaves and alittle red hint on the 6pk.

Everyday is a joy to look in and see less leaves and MORE BUD!
Really startin to smell good I have given up on telling the bagseed and agfany x SS.
They all seem to have a different smell and look totally diffrent!
Next round i'm going to label EVERTHING even if i think oh i'll remember that.


Smoked some of the early seeded bud good smell after only 8days total dry/cure.
The grassy smell wore off alot quicker than the last plant must have alot to due with matureity?
Good smooth floaty buzz too
Can't wait till harvest i broke down and bought ONE more bag of schwag
So i won't keep clippin buds!
And it will make me appreciate it even more!
NO STEMS NO SEEDS THAT U DON'T NEED!

Got a sweet GE air conditioner from a friend cleaning out forclosed houses and it's big enough to do the whole bed room and the closet!
Probably the whole trailer and the termostat works great so it should be a set it and forget it deal
Well bed times here again, maybe some carpentry this week if i get time.

Well this will be a quickie!
First off i found a bunch of seed sacs forming on some of the plants
The untopped one included
But i think i should still harvest a decent amount for as many screw ups i've had.
Oh and by the way i've got spidermites AGAIN!! bastards can't just leave me alone!
They might have come from the sour d mum i put in there but she looked all health??
Well here's the one picture i took this afternoon

Got a 60x100 lighted handheld microscope from radio shack to keep track of the trichs It was only $10 and works great!!
I'd say i probably have about 60% cloudy and 15% amber right now but i'll be waiting its only 10 more days till 60 days!!

For spider mites I've had good luck with neem spray. Especially Einstein oil. I mix 1/2 tsp per quart with a drop o dish soap and apply to both sides of leaves while the lights/fans are off. Let that dry on, and then in two days give them a water spray to re-activate the neem. repeat every 3-ish days for a while, and get everyone who is before two weeks of flower. I do this right up until 2-3 weeks flowering and never get those nasty webs in my buds or unsightly tap holes!

And don't worry about the seeds.. it happens to the best of us!

...plus I've had a lot of fun planting femmed seeds outdoors

And yeah i sprayed the leaves w/neem but i really don't dare spray near the bud with 1wk to go.
I also have a nopest strip i use during fans/lights on, the combo seems to work really well.



Hopefully the closet gets wrapped up soon because the next round is bursting out of the tote!
I don't have pics tonight but maybe tommorow if it's raining


Been out in the woods the last couple nights and MAN!! there's ALOT of bugs!
Things have been going pretty good so far.....the next round will be alot less work just got to get them sprouted!

Finally had time to load some picture's

Things are lookin sweet!
I've taken a few taster samples and they are really fruity smelling and tasteing
I've been hanging branches in the dark side of the closet and they are smokable in around 3-4 days.

I've been watching the triches closely and they are probably 80/20 cloudy to amber.
I'm atleast waiting till the 1st that will be 60 days.
Then it will be time for the next round:

And the untopped will probably be the last to be harvested it's the least mature and is still filling out.





Well thats it for now probably the next pics will be harvest
I can't wait to get all this sweet smellin stuff in jars!!
But i'm more excited to get some quality strains femmed and clones "no seeds" going so i can really see what i can do
I can honestly say i won't try flowering plants in 2L soda bottles ever again.
And hand watering will hopfully be a thing of the past every four days for 60 days has been plenty for me!
And i will absolutely be purchaseing an air cooled reflector asap!
Temps are just all over the place and mostly not the right places latley!


Well hopfully everyone that has read this has enjoyed it in some way!
I am so greatful to have found this site and this hobby!

ps. I would officially reccomend topping your sour D once before flower to keep it in a similar height range.

Yeah i think i'm gonna have to lst or top the sd due to height limits
But there will be plenty of fat colas comeing from this closet soon enough!!!

I have noticed that i ask a question like every post so here's todays:
Any one know a good brand for air cooled reflectors? he he i'm so helpless!


Another big change for next round in the closet will be lights on @ night so it's easier to keep cool along with AC.

I got the old faithful seedlings outside on the 22-24th and they have survived so far
Put a generous amount of slug bait/killer as there were ALOT of them and after aweek no bites!

Still have some clones and a few femmed bubble deisel to go out but no hurry here.

Tommorow is the BIG DAY!!!

I'm so excited and sad to chop tommrow!?!
I have dryed and smoked four scrawny plants in the last three weeks
so i could find a method that should work and i couldn't resist!! LOL
So here's my plan i'll wait till right before the lights would come on, chop, Hang for three-four days (thats how long the ones i smoked took), Then into mason jars to be burped once aday, for up to three weeks? or more?

The other plants had a crazy fruity taste and smell and they were 1-2wks early.
The buzz was intense but short lived i'm hopeing the extra amber trichs from the last 2wks will fix that.
Plus the cloudy trichs have changed to a more creamy color than foggy.
And judgeing by what i saw today the untopped plant will go with the rest

I took my last pics of all the budded girls for the last time before they go to dry
I'll post those and some of the new budlets on the Sour D sat or sunday.

Hope everyone enjoyed my early outdoor indoor grow, I think things went good for my first try next time should be better.
I'll probably start a new thread for the next round.
But not till i get some jar pics on this one!!!

Well I got the 2nd one down on that link, I am running a 600 w bulb in there right now, might add another in the future. I have a 185 cfm 4 inch vortex pulling out the heat and is doin a great job. What I need to do is get my ballast out of the room, like having a space heater in there
No sticker, I would not even know there was a brand name until I read it on the box, I am not one for brand names but it seems to be doin a great job, I will know more come heat of summer

As the title states this is IT!!!

I took these friday night and chopped all 10 plants in 2Ls @ 5:15 this morning

Started with thirty and harvested 10 mature only slightly seeded plants

And after all of the worrying about my untopped plant getting seeded While i was trimming it i found several mature male flowers in the buds!!!
They were so dense i couldn't see em i guess?
Oh well still some killer lookin bud!!
























And then this SLY FOX with a close closer closest aproach my camera just won't get any closer and look good









And here's the SD's new little buds She'll all transplanted now








Thats 20 days in 12/12 only 55 more should be mid way through next round.

Had to chop early this morning before work so i've been trimming some tonight.
Stuff is really strong smelling! kinda skunky fruity
Well I'm off to start my new log for indoor i'll probably do outdoor on this one still and jar pics and cured smoke reports but that'll be a couple days!

Hello everyone
I have been enjoying the fruits of my labor and how sweet it is!!
Just knowing that i grew it makes it taste so much better!
I don't have any scales but i think i maybe got 3/4 -1 oz not to shabby for my fist try.
Here are some pics from the day after Harvest trimming up




Here is the untopped bud Very hairy and not as dense as the rest maybe because of the male flowers seeding it




Such a shame i didn't catch it sooner
But i still turned out a couple jars not to full but i'm thankful for every bud





There is one more also but it wasn't dry as quick, these were dry after 3days the other took 5.
I also made so butter from some small buds and some budleaf.
Used it for some brownies and it was awesome!!
One will do ya for 8-10 hrs easy and two is nap material!!
I used a diffrent method than usual. I used the water and butter mix warm but strained right away.
I only put 1 1/2 cups water with 2 sticks butter two handfuls of bud and budleaf simmered for a 1/2 hr strained it and then mixed it right up and cooked the brownies right then!
And it worked way better than waiting for it to set up and scraping the bowl!
And they tasted just like GREENBUD!

Outdoor stuff is over its shock and growing should have pics soon!
Only plant left in the cold frame its huge and starting to bud?

Hey everyone!
Its been awhile so i took some pics of the "Misfit" in the coldframe.



And this was almost 2 months ago!

I also had to save a mango bubblegum deisel seedling from slugs so its double trouble in the coldframe!

And a close up of a misfit branch


I guess that the humus manure ewc mix did the trick!
I got thinking and the Misfit plant is 7months old!
It only began to take off in the last couple wks to think i almost threw it like 10 times!
I've been trying to get some real outdoor picture's but it's usually spur of the moment when i go and camera is way down on the lisit usually JS
