geze capt...the neville's sure is wispy looking, dank as hell i bet though!! does S.S.H buds look the same or are they a lot fatter? the neville crosses better though because of the purity in its genes, im assuming. Who's the best of the hazes???
I'm not sure on the best of the 2.I'll let you know soon enough,,I'm going to germinate my seeds tonight.
All the Neville's plants are not like that wispy one.I had 7 or 8 tall pheno plants out of 18 sisters. The short pheno range from slightly wispy to full thick buds. From what I've seen here in the F2 the more compact the plants buds in this strain the less of a resin coating they will have. The first pics of the dried buds I posted at the top of this thread had twice the resin as any other plant. So special plants do pop up in this F2.I'm extremely happy with the results, even the wispy buds kick ass.Super-Spice is what it should have been called, although I understand that he wanted to give Nevil his due!
the smell of those pure sativas is just something amazing hey crip? so unique, so ... unlike everything on the street, i love it, the chocolate, or sweet or spicy odors keep me comin' back to those sativas, great job on those plants man!
looks like my g13/vietnam black. mine smelled like garlic and was soooo sticky but once again no bag appeal either and took like 10 weeks but I let it go only 8.
I have only had experience with an NH cross.
It was a StrawberryBlonde sativa from SOL crossed to the NH.
The buds looked about as airy as some of your pics but they
were fairly frosted with resin and the high ...... good lord, the high! Out of this world man!! Heart pounding, racy, tripped-out, for about the first 30 min. then a beautiful, euforic, crystal clear head high. I felt like my face was lit up like a x-mas tree. No way to hide the fact that you were high on this herb. That's why I'm looking forward to getting my hands on your F3's Cap'n. Can't wait to try the pure NH, and maybe try a few crosses of my own. Working to stabilize world class cannabis strains such as the NH is IMHO a just and noble cause. Keep it up my man!!! Jack.
Got this plant from a californian girl. She didn''t know what bags it came from at all. Just that it was something from california.
-It was vegged in quite cold outdoors climate for one month, and put right into 12/12 eight weeks ago (No forcing).
-It stretches a little, then build budsites (sparsely and airy), and suddenly stretch a little again. It's been topped at 4th node, and pretty tied down since flowering was induced. Hell, I even broke a couple of branches half of, but she heals in three-four days. Just gotta support and bandage the wound if it's open and close to all through the stem...
I can't see much buds, but on every branch there are lots of 5-10cm sticks with some flowers on... The smell is very fruity but also smells a little sour (Like wet hay, maybe...)
Tonight I put her outdoors (double-potted her with new organic soil-mix). She'll get 15-16hrs daylight to start with, but that decreases and hit 12/12 the 21st of september. She'll probably be able to go for another 8 weeks before the frost really sets in. I could maybe build some coldframe as she's located in an abandoned school-yard that's mostly a place where people dump trash... Saw some plastic sheets, and even a wavy fiberglass sheet too. Dunno if it will be enough to get this slow old virgin fat, but she was way to big for my cabby...
Any ideas how far she's got left? (If someone can recognize the stage she's at and compare tho the 57 days she's already been going... Maybe I should count one week less as I didn't force-flower?)
At 60 days mine look like that and take about another 2 months to mature properly. The hairs will usually turn brown before the trichomes cloud up,so use the resin glands to determine ripeness.
Hope she''ll be blessed with an indian summer.
I've tested some budlets that broke, and I think it had a buzz already. And I just got a very good amateur microscope (50-900x), so I'll be looking closely in 7 weeks (if she don't die on me before that...)
