Dutch seed banks

When the laws changed back some years ago. How did this impact breeders? How are things done now as opposed to the early day? Are these seed banks still a good choice?

Even if this post is a few years old, in my opinion it has not lost its topicality. On the contrary. That's why I like to tie in here ... and introduce my thought model to you in advance. If this is already nonsense in terms of content, history, I ask that you both say it honestly and please justify it; So ... I think there was the 1970s when several people were collecting seeds and started growing those seeds in NL. The Seed Bank, The Sensi Seed Bank and Positronics were created. The history of the three seed banks mentioned is well documented. There is the Operation Green Merchant area, which at certain points does not seem to be doing any research properly; As if the wall of silence reigned there. Let's just call this period section number 1 of Dutch Seed Bank Omerta aka DSBO. But the seed system worked more or less well for years; The hfl aka NLG rolled. There was probably a change in the law, around the time when Sensi Seeds, Positronics, Mr.Nice Seeds and the two knowledge bases N.Schoenmakers and D.P. Watson were finally at odds. This is chapter number 2 of the DSBO. We are now in the 1990s. From 2000 the DSBs' journey went via Switzerland to Spain. Now, in the 2020s, a number of important protagonists have unfortunately passed away and the sources of knowledge are becoming fewer and fewer. It is precisely these sources that strictly adhere to the DSBO. The last year was also not without .. R.I.P. Nevil, fire at Maripharm .. and just look at Sensi Seeds for NL # 5xHaze or at The Flying Dutchman for the original Haze ;-)
