A mathematical conversion is indeed what I mean, so you can actually use that sniffer.

Due to a aprox. 95% conversion rate and some additional losses in the process it wont be a 1:1 conversion

Getting access to a certified lab and LC analyse for cannabis seems to me as fairly impossible in the Netherlands, but if you are registered at the chamber of commerce and with the proper paperwork, you might.

It's not about using the forum software properly but about the format you choose... Mark what's cited (and indicate the source of the quote) so that it doesn't mingle with your personal stuff .
And again, it's about an 'e-nose' and not a FID detector; a solid phase probe works differently and might completely distinguish between THCA and THC or recognise both equally... only the manufacturer can reply to that question .

Today we sowed roughly 500.000 Finola seeds (30 kg/ha) on 0,19 ha of land. So that's about 200 plants per m2 assuming a 80% germination rate. Ideal sowing conditions. Dry soil during sowing, rain in the evening.

I'll be putting in a small patch in a week or so, maybe a pound of seed, mixed in with black beans and popcorn. Doing tillage now on a new piece of ground. Not going public. Let somebody else get the publicity and official scrutiny. Hope you find a lab for tests. I'd like to know.

I sowed at roughly 30 kg/ha using the sowing machine in post #106. So that's about 200 plants per m2 assuming a 80% germination rate. So I expect a plant to pop up every 5 cm in both directions.

Why should anybody want to grow Finola as a fiber crop, OO?

Mine are up about a week or so now. The Finola sprouted in two days and surprised the hell out of me. I compensated for what I thought was a low germ rate by planting thick. Way too thick it turned out. The little devils all popped and now I have to thin. I planted in rows and alternated with black beans which came up a couple of days after the hemp.

Don't know, don't judge; cause Finola can be used for both. Although, the fibres are shorter and finer than those of most other varieties. I thought DutchHemp said something about fibres (didn't go back in the thread to verify).
In any case, I suppose he's better off than you... You know that 'pulling off weed' means something else, right ? *me-mean-be*

We sowed at around 30 kg/ha. I didn't do a germination count per m2 yet. I will in the coming week. For our purpose, flowers and leaf production, we assume that 30 kg/ha is good. The fibers will only be used as secondary by product. We haven't found an application yet.

Cool that you also planted Finola. Can you tell me the philosophy behind alternating black beans and Finola? Sounds interesting.

Hey Dutch, the beans will provide a little cover and confusion, as will the popcorn that brackets both ends of the field. The main reason, though, is that the beans are a legume that will add a little nitrogen and will provide a food crop. Besides, beans are easy to grow.
