I would never try to give another site props when this one is so great and all-encompassing......but for those who are gonna actually go to Amdam anytime soon......you should check out www.smokersguide.com. The staff are awesome folks, most of the posters are well-informed, they have coffeeshop reviews, strain reviews etc. I've been posting there on and off for 5 years now, so say hey if ya see me there! 
yup, smokers guide is pretty informative place, with nice staff !
Interesting links, but this article about opiated hash is a bit weird to me, full of contradictions, exagerationas and unaccuracies. Never ever had any opiated hash in A'dam in more than a dozen stay there.

this is a good thread boggle,
It is kinda dissapointing, I've been hearing steadily worsening stories of people not being all that impressed with the Dutch coffee shop scene , which is unfortuanate because if smoker should want to go anywhere , it should be Amsterdam. Personally I've always wanted to go myself , but it's starting to sound as if I can smoke better bud here at home.

it aint all that bad!
.....if you grow great bud then you will appreciate the varieties of hash for sale there!..if you come from a place with lots of hash and no grass then the many types of bud will keep you busy.
anyway.......Amsterdam is all about freedom...the freedom to sit in a window of coffee shop smoking a big bong as watch two policemen walk by
and if you look around there is some good hash and grass too.
