Has anyone ever grown this? tasted some a while back and it was excellent, i remember it being great for pain and such, but a tripped out ,super cotonmouth type buzz, i seen it in an old sssc catalog and it got me thinking bout it.

Wow, amazing that that's still around in a pure form! Brothers Grimm crossed it w/ C-99, and I have a pack of "Speedball", which Rez made by crossing the Grimm cross w/ Sensi Star. Someday, someday...

interesting! I recently sprouted out some crosses entrusted to me with this as the father:
BlueberryXDTHF
Blue heaven1XDTHF Bx1
Blue Heaven8X DTHF 3
etc.
from a coolguy in montreal, sorry forgot his handle from the old OG/CW days.
they should be nice crosses against djs classics.

^^^ pretty sure those crosses are from gorgo. his DTHF is very heavy on the Durban side, very aniseed and quite trippy. there is still some pure DTHF around F3 or F4 by now. i'd be most interested in the BH#1 back cross, the BH#1 is one outstanding plant.

she is still my all time favorite plant. my last round she produced the poorest yet but was the tastiest grow for me so far. complete euphoria though very strong if too much is smoked.

all the crosses from the DTHF were very nice in effect but all had that "cat piss", smell and flavor thing going which just isn't my thing. the highs were outstanding though. i think g still has a load of pure DTHF seeds, F3 by now i think.

DTHF was one of the best strains I've smoked, the taste was full on candied anise funk, very refershing flavor difficult to describe... had a nice effect to. Would love to grow that one

So I've just germinate two Durban Thai high flyer x c99, these babies seem very vigourus, they were the only two from a pack of 5 that popped.

Here they are just been repotted seems like one has thicker leaves than the other

Why would anyone be excited for a strain that hasn't been seen since the 1980s. Been on internet forums for 15 years never once have I seen a picture of Durban Thai flyer, the closest you've seen in the last 10 years is Dutchgrowns Durban Thai flyer x c99 which wasn't very popular either. From what I've seen that chem male steam tolls anything it touches and just turns it into more chem, which is cool if you don't have one already but once you have one good chem you don't need many more, they're all the same.

FDM has a DTHF x C99 that I have looked at several times but never pulled the trigger. Anyone grown it ? Breeder is Baudelaire at Fleur de Mal. Never found much on any of their strains .
