Would there be any Durban leaning phenos in the Serious 6? I know it has liquorice and lemony terps. African and Canadian genetics so I'm assuming Simon crossed a Durban with a Friesland/Freezeland. Friesland more than likely was a dutch Durban/Skunk cross made by SSSC in the late 80s. Serious 6 is short flowering almost pure sativa. Has to be a good amount of Durban somewhere in that strain. Some of the later taller phenos sure have that Durban vibe to them.
Here are some pictures of a Dutch Passion Durban Poison. I had to harvest a bit early. Can‘t say if I found liqourice flavours I haven‘t tried it yet. It‘s a robust outdoorplant but definitely with indica in it. View attachment 18903606 View attachment 18903607 View attachment 18903608 View attachment 18903609 View attachment 18903610
Yes, definitely. I tried some bud of a friend who grew it indoors. It was a mellow high. The weird thing was that it helped me sleep. The high was uplifting but the come down made me tired. So if you time it right you get a good mixture of both worlds. But I think my buddy pushed his plant pretty far. I‘m keen to try this one.Beautiful looking pheno, and the finishing Color reminds me of the one I did last year. One thing I found somewhat negative is that the effect of the high is moderate not a potent smoke.
Enjoy

First pistils showed around end of July, by mid august it was flowering. September 13th one of the photos and the last one harvest day October 20th. All done outdoors. I felt I could let it go till the end of October but choked because of the weather conditions. The frist picture looks very similar to mine. Your leafs look a bit more leaning to the sativa side I guess.
The Buds were very dense and hard early on. They grew all along the stem and had a lot of leafs coming out.
Can you tell me how much time went past between those two pictures?
Wow, thanks a lot!First pistils showed around end of July, by mid august it was flowering. September 13th one of the photos and the last one harvest day October 20th. All done outdoors. I felt I could let it go till the end of October but choked because of the weather conditions.
At the time of harvest absolutely no mold, rot, mildew. That’s why I kept these trait and my F1 is showing the same resistance but the flowering time is longer, already passed the harvest window from last year. Confident I can get it to run til November.
Is anyone in this thread familiar with the Durban Poison from Sacred Seed that used to be sold by VancouverSeedBank?
A friend has some that he's been using for years and I'm interested in growing it again.
The liqourous flavor is specifically what I want from DP.
Thanks
