Hi All,
Any idea what could be causing my fan leaves to have these rust like sections?
New growth is not affected but within ~5-9 days it appears like these rust/necrosis spots just pop up over night. I want to say its still Mg/Ca deficiency related but curious how long it would normally take to recover.
Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated!
I'm growing in hydro, using RO water (completely forgot about adding back in Mg/Ca for the first 4 weeks of veg but begun adding back ~1ml/gallon of CaliMagic from GH for the last 6 days), ph levels were around 5.3-5.7 when I forgot the Mg/Ca but currently sitting at 6.2.
I was changing my rez every 2 weeks and before I added the CaliMagic from GH there was no apparent root issues, no slime or other bugs/insects.
ppm is currently around 850-1000 the last measurement I took.
Here's a few pictures of the sections that are just starting to transition. The much older fan leaves near the very base are almost completely dead/falling apart.
