ugggh i got a dui ticket today for herb. i have a card so nothing was taken. was pulled over for goin four over. cop smelled herb and like a fool admited to smoking 2 hours earlier urrrghh.two cops say i was too intoxicated to drive. anyway i should get a lawyer right? no duid laws in colorado. damn this is frustating any input appreciated

if you admited to it they you are screwed, same thing happen to a buddy of mine in cali. good news they ended up dropping the case. he also has a card.

Someone familiar in Marijuana law would be best. Your average DUI lawyer may work too, if they have the gusto.

Don't get sucked into the plea bargain without good legal advice (i.e. not mine)

How can one prove that you were intoxicated on your meds? Piss test shows up for weeks/months. Peeps take their pain killers and is warns on the bottle "May cause drowsiness". WTF.

Point is, you don't want to be a "cause" talk to people familiar with 'precedent' on that issue, and go from there.
