Ducksfoot

I've been smoking this for awhile now and this is a report on my third outdoor harvest although the plant wasn't really outdoor as I grew it on a table next to a window. Despite the fact it was grown indoors with only a few hours of direct sunlight daily in a 10ltr ice cream container it ended up fairly big.

As I mentioned the plant didn't get very much light and so the buds ended up stringy and thin but they were covered in trichs and there were lots of them as I topped the plant. Even without topping Ducksfoot are branchy plants, this one was a green octopus. Most Ducksfoot plants I have grown smell like lemon trees and even when heavy in flower the lemon scent (which I think comes off the leaves as much as the buds) is so strong it's almost a nose burner. Ducksfoot is a strain that gets varied reviews regarding it's smoke but I love it. Its great smoke for pretty much anytime of the day as its not too heavy (I like to harvest a little late so I get a nice mellow sativa effect) and always puts a smile on my face. I'm so used to smoking it that it's hard for me to describe the exact feeling but I'd call it a well rounded sativa buzz that lifts the mood and makes the clock turn faster. It never fails to put me in a good mood and is a nice smoke for social situations. Something about it reminds me of old school bush we used to get in Australia but I can't put my finger on it. Overall though I take into consideration how easy it is to grow and how well it yields and I can't help but say this is a special strain. I apologise for the lack of detail in the report as it's my everyday smoke and I can't get a solid flow of words going to describe it. I will try to add to this report in the near future as I am experiencing a mental block right now.

ducksfoot is an outdoor only strain.
people have tried growing it indoors but it seems to do way better outside.

its unique shape and leaf structure make it easier to disguise and keep stealthy.

I managed to finish this one indoors but it was using natural light from the window it was next to. I had no idea it would keep growing to the size it did though. I have seen how big they get outdoors but I expected the small container and reduced direct sunlight hours to keep the plant smaller than it ended up.
