I can get my dry sift close to 99% pure gland heads as well.. but in small amounts.. the unique thing with Sam is he can rock 100 grams and clean it perfectly.. will give the forced air a shot..i have used forced air before on a flat screen built into a box but it just blew the shit all over the sides.. The sinched 70u bag sounds proper.. thanks for the ideas..
will see if larger amounts can be done using this tech.

peace

Thanks for the reply Bman! I was hoping you would chime in, you are the man! Spent alot of time over at FMB reading your posts before I tried making full melt dry sift. Has sam gotten better at his tech? What I read is that he was getting 10g from a kilo. 100 g of flowers will only yeild a gram of pure glands. Or else it should take him 10 kilos of flowers to yeild that amount. Sorry a little confused by what you said. Thanks again, keep it bubblin.

Thanks for all the replys people! I hope this works as well for you guys as it did for me. Something else im going to try instead of the air compressor is icy blasts from the co2 tank. There may be some dangers using the gas duster type compressed air due to florocarbons and other shit that sounds nasty inside those things. You can get chemical free compressed air in a can, just have to look for it.

Sam's Secret

First of all this is not how I do it.
Second I am wondering if he started with poor quality farmers resin, could he still clean it up? I can very easy.
I grind whole large plants, shade leaves and all. Then I get a 10% yield of farmers hash about 30% THC. The whole plants are maybe 10% THC, the manicured bud a little over 15%.
My yield is really low but faster and easier then manicuring, or other time consuming methods. I can easy yield over 60% THC quality up to 75% THC, with the 99.9%.
I hope more people try this new method of blowing air and get a positive results, if so then I will try it for sure. I like the idea, sounds fast and easy to get rid of a lot of the debris. Faster then carding on an 80 micron screen which takes a long time, but can be done by anyone, to prepare it for my secret method to finish it to 99.9%.
If anyone tries it with a more green resin, let me know how well it works.

I mean it was pretty simple. But I made sure it was the cleanest sift possible. Wouldn't expect perfect results from tossing some dirty sift into a bag and blasting it with air. The sift I used was melting out of the 90 mc bag. Prolly would have melted right out the 220. I just dry shook 2lbs of Larfy buds for a few min to make like 7 grams of super clean sift. Made sure not to crumble any pieces. Toss the sift in the freezer for a sec. Then I worked the sift with a small brush and card to break the head from the stalk. Once it was in the 70 bag just had to get the smaller heads and stalks out.

Thank you Volcanno...I respect anyone who has no qualms abt sharing tech. People who keep it a secret and build their egos around it, not so much...

Back in the days in Marocco we used the same method ...we used to put a high quality dry sift inside a piece of silk tissue and in turn we banged the crap out of it.
Quite exhausting but we yielded really nice hash ...never really looked under the loop what we were getting but teh high was really clear and the taste was clean too.
We used to re-sift 150-250gr batches .

In the book "Hashish!" by R.C.Clarke, he described a group of smokers in a room in Afghanistan taking turns smoking a large pipe and also handing around a cloth bag made of a material that was fine enough to hold the resin heads while the smaller sized dust/contaminant passed through the holes. Each guy in turn lifted and dropped the bag repeatedly so there were little clouds of "dust" each time it was dropped and jerked back up ...after a long time, the dry sifted resin inside the bag was purer.

Has anyone tried this with ruff greener resin? Or is it only good for already clean resin?
I am curious..
I tried to PM you volcanna, but could not.

@ Sam: I remember first reading about your secret method of producing very pure dry sift from farmers hash in the summer of 2009.

At the time, your choice to stay tight lipped about your method didn't strike me as impotently discrete in the slightest.

You said something about keeping the method a secret until you could produce a machine that would automate the process which you planned to market.

That seemed very reasonable - giving your new device more of a novelty on the open market by automating a process that up until the point of product release was unknown to the general public.

... but it's been 4 years since I read that article. What happened Sam? Are you just not technically inclined enough to work out the engineering or is it a case of extreme procrastination or have you just had a change of heart?

actually it's been much much longer than 4 years ... forgive my poor memory

... unrelated

Anyone have a recommendation for full mesh bags?

What can I say?
It is not as easy as you may think. I am not technically inclined at all and FYI, I did this a decade earlier then 2009.
I have tried and tried and if I can't in a few more years I will give up and just release the information, as long as whomever does use my info to make a machine will give me one?
If you think 4 years is a long time, what can I say?
Good things take time....

After that statement, I would have to wonder what you have done to further the process in that time frame? You sound like you think you are pretty smart, so what have you done for us lately lol. Peace GS

Back in early 2000's hoarding this information in order to market it for personal gain may have seemed like a good idea, but it appears you have waited to long. With solvent extracts becoming increasingly popular and ice water hash capable being very close to this purity and being achieved much easier. I don't see the more than likely very expensive sam the skunkman automated pure resin head machine to be flying off the shelfs as it would have years ago.

Just a thought....

If my goal was to just make money then I could be doing something else. If you think that I have waited to long, it was not my choice, I have tried many many ideas that did not work out.
If I am successful then if you are interested in making the highest quality dry sift, I will have a way to do it. I know many who say that extracts can be stronger but few if any I know say they are better then 99.9% dry sift. The same with water hash, it can be great but better then 99.9% dry sift? I am trying to develop an automated way that everyone can make 99.9% dry sift resin from their favorite variety. I will keep trying, maybe I will bring my friend bubbleman on board to try and help me with ideas. Any way I do understand everyones frustration, but how ever I am even more frustrated, I really would like to make it happen but it is not so easy...

Good one SamS

It might be an idea right now to protect your method by applying for Patents in the EU and Nth America (but I guess you have already taken Patenting into consideration) anyway, who knows? this time next year Bubbleman might be offering a "SamS automatic 99.99 pure dry sifter"........now that would be cool!

Why do you want a machine to make it for you...?

You could have had hundreds of "human" machines making it for you just by teaching them how to... You really just keeping it a secret incase you can somehow make a machine to profit from it?

I cant wait for you to "release you info" in a couple of years, watch someone make a machine overnight. I don't believe there is any special info your holding on to.
