I collected sugar leaf, small buds and runts for 2 years and tested my new washing maschine.
Nice sativs buzz but not the best quality. Also just squeezed it in the bag and let dry.

Lol i tested coolpacks instead of ice. Worked good untill 3 ruptured. Luckily all of the filling was in the 220 and 180 bag.

Lowest is 120 bag, middle row is 73(left) and 25(right) 1. run. Upper row is 2. run

Every now and then there is some magic in the 25 bag

I keep the 45u-25u separate. I find that it is 'chalky' when it dries because of the contaminants. The only exception was my Dr Grinspoon. It never fully matured and the trichs were tiny.

It is interesting to see everybody's efforts and to learn what bags you are all using. Lately I have been using 220 as a filter, 160u-45u as my haul and 25u either dried separately or tossed depending upon quantity.

This is a mixed strain run that I did 2 months ago to use up part jars.

There are many ways to make decend bubble hash.
First i ever tried was from a friend of a friend i never met sadly but i as told he let the resin/water mix seperate and then did some kind of swirrling( :dunno: like gold washing?) to clean up the resin from the fine plant material.
No way to handle that stuff without smearing over your fingers. And i couldn't stand up from the chair i was sitting in for more that 2h even if i wanted. Sounds a bit like poor mans hash.

from my side i always found better the 73-25 microns rather than the 160-73 (which is excellent althought ) .

Mine was aged buds which gives it the darker colour. As soon as I scoop it out of the bag, I put it on a 25u cloth, form it into a log and squeeze the excess water out. It gets sticky really quickly so you have to move fast and make sure that it doe not bond with the cloth. I let it dry for a day and then I micro plane it (hence the log because it is easier to work with) onto a cookie sheet for the rest of the dry. After a few days, I gather it up and the pictures above are the end result. Some varieties stay really sticky and form their own hash lumps in the jar and some stays in crystalline form.

And btw, when I first started bubbling I almost killed a nice big 9 gram chunk of cheese with mould/mildew because I didn’t dry it properly. I took it fairly wet off of the cloth and crumbled it onto cardboard to dry. The next morning I formed it into a blob and I ‘frenchied’ it and ended up with a nice black ball of hash that I put in a jar. One or two days later, I looked at it again and it was covered with white mould/mildew. I scraped that off – losing a gram or more of hash. Then over the next 2 days I worked the remainder by hand – heating it up on the top of an amplifier and kneading it, gradually drying it in the process. I salvaged it but that is when I hit YT to investigate drying.

A sieve is a pain in the ass to clean and you lose hash that sticks in the sieve and if you are only working small quantities, that loss hurts. The micro planer is easier to clean and you can recover most of the product from its teeth, so that is what I do now.

It was cut down with 25% amber 2 weeks of drying.
Then run and after that we did dry it in a spot with the temp at 12°C and a 35% relative humidity.
We sometimes Pre freeze and Micro plane it but we never press all LOW Quality get in the cooking pot .

Some fresh frozen just out the 73 We did a short soak.
The 220 micron we work with, 190 + 160 To filter.

before this second work ,only the jelly hash was soft , the two others was hard and non pliable ,

now they are all very soft and flex and will stay like that ,
just have to wait for a proper cure and work it by hand time by timeif i want to play ...

Just a small run I did down on the farm of bubble....nice when you have mass quantity to start with.

Love the dry sift more than the bubble. Getting ready to dry sift all my seeded buds after I take out the seeds from this last run. Not a ton but will give me a nice sample.
Have a great day all!
Peace, negative.
