Let’s see off the top of my head in each 55 gallon barrel filled with tap water:
15 tbsp Hydroponic Research’s Veg+Bloom
9 tbsp epsom salt
165ml microbe life hydroponics vitamins and amino acids
33 ml Mammoth P
120ml cal/mag
25ml each part1&part2 flying skulls Z7
100ml Advanced Nutrients ph down (my tap water is really alkaline)
I have a second pump in the rez for mixing up everything but it also needs a boost from my cordless drill with a paint mixer blade attached for a few minutes to really get it mixed up especially when the water is cold…I’ve got 2 timers set up for each barrel…one timer set to turn on and off for 40 seconds 4 times a day for feed…will need adjustments here when plants eat more…the other timer comes on 10 minutes before each 40 second feed to stir for 5 minutes…cold water line was tapped into at each barrel with a pex line and ball valve to turn on and off water filling the barrels…I usually do this every 7 days and maybe down to 5 when they’re feeding heavy
It’s a nice work when I see things like that I feel like a hack even though my plants look good, I don’t measure a damn thing

Im a minimalist grower. Only use V$B dirty with some microbes lol. I might add some Silica or Cal/mag if I see plants that could use some. PH fluctuations is my HEADACHE.. All probes need to be cleaned with a Q-tip often to get an accurate reading. If I don't its off by .5 most of the time. I use a soilless/soil medium so either promix hp or happyfrog.

I've been thinking about a switch to coco.

Got a question for you Coco growers…how often do you reuse your coco coir? If I remember correctly the late Dan’s Buds used coco three times before digging into new stuff

Why bother? Coco is cheap on the long run & It’s a pain in the ass to clean out the roots to re use ..You should start a pile outside for vegetables garden. I have an enormous pile of root balls at accumulated over the years…. Also, if you’re going to grow any weed outdoors, then that’s a good source of medium…. But your indoors I would always go new. imho

I do reuse coco indoors 3 times...with each succession the plants seem to do a little better each time...as far as the root ball I just cut out the main stalk which gives me a place to put the next plant in...after the third go around i do recycle in a pile outdoors that i reuse for my outdoor planting mix...I try to be as resourceful as I can

The current batch will go into the outdoor/greenhouse mix when the plants are done. Then a new batch of coco until around the same time next year. Two or three grows depending on what grow..

It looks like we could be in for some heavy rainy weather come Sunday here in the finger lakes…like maybe 2 to 3 inches or more with possible flooding…well there is that old saying about April showers bringing May flowers…well with an abundance of rain them flowers might take a longer time to get it together…glad I got the lawn mowed yesterday because that rain is in the forecast for the next week almost

This rain, while definitely needed after last year's drought, is going to hose me so to speak. Had some equipment problems and didn't get ground turned or drainage work done before rain. Now I'm behind.

I am putting in drain pipe and swails which would have helped my situation but without getting it done I'm going to have a mud pit.

Effing equipment.

Your plants look great Drumz!! Also your garden looks great with that garlic coming up!
