Wow, that's ridiculous. There are many places where you need to use your DL besides to identify yourself to LEO. Plus, LEO should have easy instant information to your background anyways upon lookup.

Just a huge invasion of privacy that will cause all sorts of problems.

This is exactly why we need to support the Constitution as the basis for ALL laws and the Govt doesn't have the right to legislate choice....so if the Constitution was upheld there would be no more drug issues with natural substances, granted anything synthesized would be illegal still...

The Govt is out of control, if we don't stop it now, it will be unstoppable in the near future....

Plus drivers licesing is illegal too cuz whether cart and buggy or automobile, EVERY American has a right of passage under the Constitution, in the fine print when you sign for your license, you are signing a contract giving up your God-given rights for state santioned priviledges that can be suspended or revoked.
