Droopy Plants...Outdoors

Hello IC,

I have a couple of outdoor plants that for some reason are drooping. They were planted over a month ago and everything seemed fine until one of them started to droop, looking like it needed water. Not the case because we’ve had an abundance of precipitation. It has seemed to come out of it but growth was stalled for a couple of weeks but now another one is doing it.

I’ve looked over the plants as best I could and didn’t see any damage to the stems or any insect damage. My initial thoughts were something’s going after the roots; bugs, moles or other animals. The holes were dug and amended this year so I also thought it might be a burn or lockout thing yet other plants are doing just fine. We’ve also had a lot of rain…I mean lots so it could also be a waterlog issue.

Not much I can do other than see if they pull thru but thought I’d throw this out there to see if anybody has had similar problems.

Thanks, I was thinking all the rain may have something to do with it and we’ve had lots of it. The ground drains well so hopefully they bounce back…if only I could turn off the clouds for a few days.

It’s a guerilla grow so transplanting may be too much work, they’re 5 or 6 footers, and one of them seems to be pulling out of it. There are many plants and only a few seem to be affected. Funny how looking like they need water may actually be the result of having too much. Still wondering if something is going after the roots but I’m not going to dig them up to find out. It’s raining again today…sheesh.
