sounds to me like it thins the blood and increases metabolism. This would increase all body funtion rates including those of the liver. The liver is a very hard working piece of kit and depending on your current health and particularly the state of your liver, this may help or hinder. If this product does act in this way it might be wise to be cautious if you have some liver issues. This may add more load to body functions is what I am getting at.

I would be careful if I had a heart or blood pressure condition as well. I know it says its ok for heart conditions but it also sounds like it thins the blood and that just reduces the pressure of your blood flowing through your arteries not the condition of narrower arteries.

I can be convinced though, especially if the remedies are natural. Its always my prefered option.

Interesting concept, but im not sure I would trust a whole lot coming from China at this point in time...

Chinese-made toothpaste has been banned by numerous countries in Asia and the Americas for containing diethylene glycol, or DEG. It is also a low-cost, and sometimes deadly, substitute for glycerin, a sweetener in many drugs.
The New York Times [NYT] reported Thursday that about 900,000 tubes have turned up in the United States, including correctional facilities and some hospitals, not just at discount stores as initially thought.
China insisted Thursday that the safety of its products was "guaranteed," making a rare direct comment on spreading international fears over tainted and adulterated exports.

Made in China (buyer beware)

Americans were shocked and then angered this spring when their cats and dogs began getting sick or dying from pet food that turned out to be tainted. — That has been followed by a near-daily stream of recalls warning about all kinds of other toxic imported products, including toothpaste, baby bibs, toy trains and human food. — Now consumers are wondering what else at the supermarket or home store might hurt or kill them. — Last week alone the list included glassware from Pier 1, with 21 reports of cracked or broken glass; reclining chairs blamed in eight injuries; car tires blamed in two deaths; and fish and shrimp that the government says could cause cancer. — These products, and many more, have at least one thing in common: All were imported, and most were made in China.

Regulators say some cases involved outright fraud.

The dog food and toothpaste were adulterated with ingredients designed to fool any testers. Melamine in the dog food gave false high protein readings, and the toothpaste substituted a cheaper ingredient that is similar to brake fluid.

So uhh.... I'll pass, thanks. Enjoy your chinese "herbal" tea...

EDIT: here's another breaking news update about Chinese bullshit imports..
WASHINGTON (AP) - Farmed seafood has now joined tires, toothpaste and toy trains on the list of tainted and defective products from China that could be hazardous to a person's health.

Federal health officials said Thursday they were detaining three types of Chinese fish - catfish, basa and dace - as well as shrimp and eel after repeated testing turned up contamination with drugs unapproved in the United States for use in farmed seafood.

The officials said there have been no reports of illnesses nor do the products pose any immediate health risk. They stopped short of ordering a ban on the fresh and frozen seafood.

The Food and Drug Administration announcement was the latest in an expanding series of problems with imported Chinese products that seemingly permeate U.S. society.

Beyond the fish, federal regulators have recently warned consumers about lead paint in toy trains, defective tires, and toothpaste made with diethylene glycol, a toxic ingredient more commonly found in antifreeze. All the products were imported from China.
