Hello Everybody! This is my first post in the Toker's Den so I'll try and make it as interesting as possible. Four years ago, I registered a business in my town with the hopes of eventually doing a bit of import/export as a commodities broker (dealing with electronic and agricultural goods). I dealt with contracts pertaining to everything from Brazilian soy beans to Dell laptops and Nokia cell phones.

For the last four years or so I've learned an invaluable amount of information pertaining to this business. For example, the import/export business is 99.9% bullshit. What I mean by this is, there are hundreds of thousands of brokers (like myself) entering the market every year looking to make a million dollars overnight. They claim to be legitimate buyers only to seek out legitimate suppliers and vice versa. I learned very quickly who was and was not legitimate. I spoke with hundreds of people across the globe and came very near to closing multi-million dollar contracts. Needless to say, it is quite an elusive business. I never closed one deal! What I did come away with in my four years of networking, is several solid supply chain connections in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Brazil.

Anyway, I'll get to the whole point of this thread: One of my connections has recently brought a very interesting product to my attention: A tea manufactured in China which contains several natural herbs and flower extracts that work together to help your gall bladder, pancreas and liver function at their most efficient levels, all the while processing alcohol. In other words, this tea can be consumed before, while or after you drink alcohol and significantly increases your bodies ability to metabolize ethanol.

My girlfriend, my buddy and I gave the tea a try the other night to find out for ourselves whether or not it was for real. I currently weigh 190lbs (I've really let myself go); my buddy's at 175 and my girlfriend is a whopping 125 soaking wet. After drinking 4 Belgian beers with an average alcohol content of 8.5% (roughly) we were feeling very nice to say the least. We then each drank one dose of the tea and waited...aproximately 15 minutes later I felt incredible. I can't exactly pinpoint the feeling, but I would not hesitate to say that I could literally feel my body ridding itself of the alcohol. 45 minutes passed and I was 85% sober. 1 hour and a half later and I was 100%. What's more impressive is that my buddy claimed to be 100% sober in 40 minutes (don't know if that's for real, though). My girlfriend surprisingly sobered up in roughly the same time as I had.

The next morning: No hangover, no headaches...in fact, I felt better than I had felt in years. I woke up clear-headed and completely rested. This phenomenon was also experienced by both my girlfriend and my buddy. Now, I can't say that this product is the answer to this country's DWI/DUI problems and I, nor the distributor nor the manufacturer will make such claims. But I can say that this product can and will significantly increase the rate at which your body processes alcohol, dramatically reducing the potential sickness, hangovers and headaches caused by overdrinking. Even better, its 100% natural and you can drink as much or as little of it as you'd like. I'm sure that if I had doubled my dose, I would have been sober even quicker!!

Overall, this was a preliminary test and I am not 100% sold on this product, in terms of my personal investment. My friend and business partner, the gentleman who brought this product to my attention has given me the chance to be the sole distributor for my region. So, I ask of you, what is your general opinion?

p.s. If anybody would like more information in regards to this product, PM men and I will be more than happy to share. I didn't want to post any form of solicitation, just food for thought. :joint:

Like I said previously, I'm not sure of any implications this thread may have on ICMAG policy. Moderators please chime in, if necessary. I am not willing to step on anybody's toes for this product...let me know. That being said, if everything's all good, I would be more than happy to provide samples.

100% natural does not even come close to meaning 100% safe. And when you've got a horse in the race....I'm inclined to look at your post as being a marketing device....100%

I completely agree...100% natural does not equal 100% safe. Furthermore, I appreciate your input because that is all I'm trying to take from this post. I had no intentions on using this post as a marketing device whatsoever...more like a learning tool. As I mentioned above, I myself am not 100% sold on this product, and I HAVE tried it. Just trying to take in as much feedback as possible. Thanks for your reply!

And again...if this post is against any ICMAG policy please delete ASAP!!

Wow...once again, the last thing I'm trying to do is sell this product!! Forget about it, please DELETE this thread ASAP!

cooked cook

bake at 420 until nicely toasted
freedom from hangovers?

freedom from hangovers?

I think the magic hangover tea might already have a competitor on the market.

You say you're involved with importing/exporting..........I might know you.....do you work for VanDelay Industries?

sorry, Verite was busy, so I had to stop in and crack wise.

I'll stop.

Sounds interesting, the guy isn't posting any links or directly advertising something, why are you people getting so defensive. If this is legit, it could make a big impact in the world. Chill out and see how things turn out before you jump on someone without any proof.

we needs more info....post it without fear

I appreciate your understanding. Like I said previously, PLEASE DELETE this thread if I am violating ANY ICMAG policies immediately!!!! If you ARE interested in the way this tea is designed, I did some research of my own on its key ingredients:

Rhizoma Imperatae

- Dissipates heat from the bloodstream to help minimize bleeding.
- Induces diuresis and promotes the generation of body fluid.
- Treats excessive thirst due to febrile disease or vomiting (due to stomach heat).
- Can be used in combination with other herbs to reduce heat, relieve vexation, promote the generation of body fluids and alleviate thirst.

Radix Puerariae

- Dispels exopathogens and clears excessive body heat.
- Also generates body fluid and quenches thirst.
- Treats exterior syndromes affected by exopathogens; accumulated pathogens in muscles; headaches; dizziness and a stiff neck.
- Strengthens the spleen and arrests diarrhea.

Crataegus

- Treats heart disease, improves digestion, strengthens heart function, lowers blood lipids, and dilates blood vessels to promote blood circulation.
- An excellent remedy for people that suffer from digestive dysfunction.
- Relieves stomach pain instantly.
- It is mainly used for coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, and post-stroke syndrome.

Orange Peel

- It is also a digestive aid.
- It is used to reduce accumulation, whether gas in the intestine; stool in the bowels; phlegm in the lungs and throat or too much blood energy resulting in high blood pressure.

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how these ingredients work togethor to improve liver function?:confused:But I do know that natural diuretics such as coffee and the above listed ingredient promote the production of bodily fluids and make you urinate more frequently...thus improving the outflow of toxins from the body. However, that is purely MY speculation...not sure if that makes sense??

Need more feedback...

The import/export business is extremely elusive. If your girlfriend is highly ambitious and an excellent networker she can be very successfull. The business itself is highly demanding and very cut-throat. I'm sure you know that its WHO you KNOW that can be the difference between success and failure. If you have more information on what she is interested in doing, specifically, maybe I might be of some help. Let me know...
