So I finished working on my dresser box well at least got it ready for growing. I started this build weeks ago but due to work and family restrains I had to put it off many times.
The actual design of this dresser was very well built and hard to make work with out destroying the damn thing. After careful redesigning I managed to get it all worked out pretty darn well. First I had to pull out the dividers that sepperated the drawers. Then I had to make them all into one door. I simply screwed the three bottom drawer faces together with a couple of boards. I then used slide lock to attach it to the dresser. In this picture you can see the slide lock and the boards that attaches the drawer fronts.
I used these little things called roller bearings to attach the upper two drawer fronts. You can see how they work if you check out these two pictures.
I did a good job with the intakes trying to make them light proof. I used a
2 1/8" hole saw and cut many holes in the bottom of the dresser. I then raised the floor on the inside to allow the air flow to go around the plants. Look close at the floor and you will see that it is raised and reinforced to take the weight. I actually crawled in there and made sure that it was strong.
I added mylar but still haven't taken pictures of it, but I will tomorrow sense I will have most of the day to actually work in there and finish it up. Please post back guys and tell me what you think. I will update tomorrow as for now I am exhausted and need rest badly.
