Happy July 4th to my American friends
Well it is getting close to wrapping up. I have just about two weeks on one plant and three weeks on the other. The older plant is starting to show some some amber trics, I was quite happy to notice that this morning. Probably about 5% or so, not that many but enough you can see them.
One the younger plant, it has been a bit of a learning experience, I realize now the mistakes I made with this one. Firstly way too many bud sites, I was hoping for a lot of big Colas, but that is not going to happen. They are quite a bit smaller with the exception of two or three, but nice and frosty, so next time, I am going to shoot for 4 to 6 colas and leave it at that, a possible scrog would have worked here as well, but you know what they say about hindsight. I will still get alot of bud from that plant, but I was growing for the show as well.
This is the younger plant as you can see it is kind of wild.

myself,i try to have 6-8 main leads so all the energy is put into these branches.
alternating branch sites but leaving fan leaves since these are warehouses for sugars and whatever else.producing phat colas.
i trim occasionally,trying not to stress.up to the second week of flowering.
and leaving the MH spectrum till that time.seems to cut down on the stretch.

Thanks for stopping in Ash, Every grow i learn something, was getting pretty good rocking Ak -47 and then switched strains, they are quite a bit different in their makeup and structure, I was trying to get as much bud as possible, but was hoping for the huge cola, just did not work out that way on this one. I have my old mother in the flowering room now, going to be throwing her outside once the daylight gets 12/12 here and let her finish outside, that one is going to just be a mini tree shape, 3 or 4 main budsites, I have trimmed everything else.

dr dog-just now founf this thread-great job on the blubonic. you will be very happy with the results. very potent, sweet herb. makes some of the finest most potent bubblehash i have ever experienced. still smoking some 1 yr old bubble from her and it is incredible. good luck, great job and even though im a little late, cant wait to see the rest of this thread!
Hey Sub, still have a few weeks of messing around yet. I am going away on the 28th of this month, so still three weeks before I stop updating. I love blubonic, I like the way the buds are rounder and it has a great smell. I don't think it smells at all like weed, my gf thinks otherwise though.
By fall time I will have a dedicated room for my growing, so I will be messing around with some crosses after that. I want to see what Blubonic makes other stuff.

Well having three days off now, I figure that I will taking lots of pictures, still trying to learn about the new camera, misplaced the DVD with the advanced manual on it, so I have been messing with stuff and seeing how it turns out.
Because the camera is a regular looking digi cam, the tripod is fairly small and finding something to prop it on to get up close is a bit of a challenge. I did not realize how much I shake, when I am trying to stay perfectly still.
A little off topic here but I watched this clip about an hour ago and I am still laughing about it

Yo Yo Big T, I never need an excuse to smoke brother, just need to be off work. LOL
It is getting close to the time where it is hard not to chop them down, I do have to admit that it will be nice not having to worry about growing for a month or so once these are done. But I am so looking forward to my next grow, especially since our good friend B is sending me something special.
