i too am curious on what effects Big Bud would have on my living organics routine. The ingredients are simply a vast array of carbohydrates and amino acids but i think they r derived from inorganic sources. These elements however should have a positive impact on beneficial bacteria growth, whicg they claim on their site it does. But I have yet 2 try it I am getting a freebie of it with my next order and I think Im going to do a control/test sort of comparison to see if it has negative effects on taste/smell ,quality of burn etc as these factors are far more important to me than increasing yields which I am already very pleased with. I use Advanced entire organic line in conjuction with some guanos and meals and am very impressed with the results so far so I trust that if their researchers state that BB can be used with organics it probably can. Wish me luck and I wish you the same!

gromer,

"inorganic" doesn't necessarily mean it's not good....Organic just means it, "once lived" and is now dead and decomposed.....You also have "natural" ingredients such as "dolomite lime", or anything that comes from the ground and is "mined" and bagged....However, you have things like Murate of Potash that is natural, but kills the microherd....The reason is that MOP contains around 50% chlorine in it....It's natural, and not synthetic, but deadly for plants.....So, I set a maximum for synthetics in fertilizers....Microorganisms can survive in around 20% synthetics(depending on what the synthetics are).....So, be careful....LC

Big Bud is about as organic as a bottle of White Spirit. It is basically a synthetic P-K booster, rich in K I believe. High levels of P is bad for microbiological life, as well as salt-based nutrients, so Big Bud is not going to have a positive influence on your bacteria growth.

AD claims it will? Oh well, when you see all the superlatives that they praise their products with (they're always hands down the best, outperform all other products by far, etc etc), I tend to take anything they say with a pinch of salt

Yes, Big Bud is a product that qualifies somewhere between satisfactory and very good.
As LavenderCowboy said, it's not because it's not organic that it's not good.

Is it ok to use to a certain extent or not with an otherwise organic diet? SOme say yay and some nay. I've been using it but then again this is the first time with organics too so i have no basis of comparison. Is there an organic alternative anyone could suggest?
