Quick up-date, got the 2 x 250w CFL's 2700k(Eco-Light) i have 1 6500k CFL there too so i'll probably throw it in, i think thats a 125w. So i now will have a total of 1000w Growlux & 625w CFL's. I think it was a wise move to supplement the space this way. I now have over 50wp2'ft' so i'm happy now. I dont think this is going to affect the temps much at all. Looking forward to getting them up now, should of been done by now over the wkend, but things came up. I can tell ya there is pistils everywhere and that it all needs a good prune, especially from under the screen. I would say so far 70% has been removed from under there, so i aint got much do deal with. Overall its gonna be a beast of a Scrog, i can just tell, & the plants are doing very well so its all good. PS: - I aint got no reflectors and i wanna hang horizontal, all i got is the ceramic hangers and 4m of cable with each one(mains). If i make a hole for the ceramic E40 fitting through some thick 18mm ply, Make it say 8" square you have a plate, make a hole in each corner to hang. I could then tie this square ply plate to floor to ceiling with wire, which would enable me to hang my CFL horizontal-'I Think'- if i pull then tie at different counter angles, it could work. Does everyone agree this would work, i will cover the 8"x8" ply in foil tape. if anyone has any better ideas please chime in' Peace.....

Good to hear everything is going good!....Ive been watching, waiting for some new pics to pop up on here any day!
So your supplementing with cfl?....I just went out and got some CFL's to supplement the very ends of my cab today. It seemed that the far sides of my biggest girls were bieng shaded, so i ended up with 2 bulbs at each end not sure the wattage but probably just the 100w equivelant? eather way they were 6500k...shouldent hurt things even though they arnt monster big lights they should work well for what im trying to use them for, wouldent you say? so now i have the 400watt eye hort blue, 2 6500k T-5 side lights, and the 2 cfl's hanging at each end. Not sure how that adds up in watts with the cfl's...do you use actual rating or what wattage they are equivilant to?

Depends though, my computer is actin up, I think im switching back to Vista from win7....They dont have enough proper drivers out to make all of my Toys...Printers, extra drives, hdmi stuff, work properly or 100 percent!...Its a total bummer, win7 is cool but it seems ill be better off to wait a bit till all the patches and updated drivers come out before i re install it!....if I dont get the pics up this is why!...It takes so darn long to switch the OS back!

Hey People,
Well, i finally got most of the underside of the screen cleared of leaves, theres about 10% or so left which will be removed within the next week if all goes well.
Things look Ok, i been away for over a week and the stretch is on,there's a lot of top's that are getting left behind but next week i will pull down the larger/longer out of control colas' under the screen & fix with a twisty tie, to try to level the playing field a little.

Hey People,
Managed to get a few changes done between me & my bro'.
Its 3.5 weeks or about 25 days into bloom-/12/12.
Tried my best to level out things but i dont think its quite there lol,
My bro has done a great job while i been away, fair play to him!
95% of all small leaves & shoots have been removed from around
50-60% of the plant, mostly under the screen, so its pretty cool on air flow, I have a 6" clip on fans dedicated to the underside of the screen(another on stand-by' if i need it), i like the clip on's - 'stick'em anywhere & have 2 settings. Also a 16" Oscilating, Pedistal Adjustible, 3 speed fan above. Now we finally got round to adding 2 x 250 CFL's on top of the 600+400w Growlux's, and im trying to fit the other 125w CFL in there too, to give 1625w total, Mixed HPS CFL Spectrums, 6400k + 2700k + 2050k, they really really really like it a lot, its mad really you can see the difference these cfl's have made in about 4 -5 days there was a mad spurt on as soon as they were activated. I have added another 300lph air-pump(dual outlet) to the equasion giving 600lph bubbling in the res now too. Give love & they love right back, you dont need to keep pushing, i try to tell people stop pushing the PPM's up so hard every week, no , they always end up burning their plants lol! If your gonna push anything i would say push the fucking "Lights"people, as long as you have Good all round ventilation you are gonna win, use plenty of circulation fans('Not flat out'), and over kill your Air exchange, & hey presto your ALL-DAY, feet-up,Party'On..........

Nice to see that everything is comming along so nicely! Dont worry about it not being exactly level, your a pro lol Im certain you will have them under controll soon. BTW really they look great! Nice work on the CFL's as well, Im glad you and your partner found the time to get those up...Ive even noticed a difference with the smaller ones i added at the ends of my set up! Better sooner than later, but better late than not at all!

This Scrog is a little wild but its gonna yield ok. I'm confident it will look ok at the end too,
This is around 28-30 days or so.


That 600 is set at about 22", a little high, next time its going down to 18" where it should be lol!

Hey Toke, Ive done quite a few Scrogs in my time(DWC) but this is the first thats this sort of size &(NFT). Regulaly done 1x1m approx screens. I'd love to show you the pics of my Last Chiesel Scrog (my last grow) All mine that one, but i lost the pics somewhere,(& my Whiteberry Scrog Pics are lost too but there all on an old Phone camera that i cant get to work.I 'll give you a shout when i find them, scrogged really well the Chiesel, she was long and bendy!. I can only get to these Ultimates once a week, two at most, missed sort of 10 days after the switch and they were left get a little wild, its a shame really as there is a lot of tops that got buried & left behind, my Bro had never done it before, so considering everything he didnt do so bad & i gave him a 9 out of 10 for effort lol fair play to him/her!lol
Yeah if i could of been there a little more often at key times, it woulda been a blinding Scrog, I'd of been there to pull down fix to the screen and bend & stuff. The Extra 50-80 more tops in there would of helped my case too. Ah well we will see how she goes, i'm confident it aint gonna let me down! 'Smells fkin great!
