Plants have been curing one week now, almost completely dry and just about ready to be put into jars. Been smoking buds picked on day 46 of flower, i like it a lot, it's activating, stimulating, and makes me feel good. Looking forward to smoking the 60-days-flowering + cured buds. Just a few more days.

This is the total yield from the three plants (with some Chapstick for scale). It dried for 10 days, and was put into jars 2 days ago. I don't have a scale so I wasn't able to weigh it. It's a lot of weed for me, anyway.

I didn't smoke for the couple of weeks it was drying in order to clear my system a bit. After 10 days of drying I rolled a joint (weed only, no tobacco) and took two normal-sized hits. I'm glad I didn't smoke more.

It inhaled smoothly and smelled very strong on the exhale. I can't say I noted much more than that about the actual smoke.

The high is big-time creeper. It took a good 2-3 minutes to start feeling it, and then it started kicking in, little by little, for the next 15 minutes or so. Within twenty minutes I was fucking stoned, just on the verge of being too much. It was still enjoyable, and it had kind of a stabilizing effect; even though I was stoned out of my mind, I didn't get into any anxiety or paranoia. Instead I just sat, chilled, and enjoyed the ride.

I've read reports saying that Mazar seems to be "missing" something. I now think I understand to what they were referring. It's not a "total" stone, if you can gather my meaning. Some parts of my faculties seem to be affected while others don't. It makes me alert, and senses are enhanced. There is no couchlock; no feeling of weight that comes with some other types of weed.

It's certainly different from any other high I've experienced, but that should be taken with a grain of salt as I haven't experienced more than 4-5 types of weed, nor do I smoke often. I can say that I grew DP Masterkush a few years ago and I think I liked that better than this. There was just something more wholesome about it, like a steak dinner with all the trimmings, bread, salad, soup, veggies, wine, and dessert. Using the same analogy, this Mazar is heavy on the wine, salad, and dessert, but lacks the satisfaction that comes from that rich, juicy main course. It's kind of like drinking on an empty stomach, if that makes any sense. Heh, actually reminds me a bit of a Vodka and Red Bull.

Still, in my opinion, this is decent cannabis. To a person who only smokes occasionally, I would say one or two hits will get you stoned, three hits will knock you on your ass. To you daily smokers, I might say it'd be an interesting addition to your collection. Might be best as a morning smoke, because you get high without being weighed down with other effects that could affect your performance the rest of the day.

If I had to give it an overall rating, it would be a 7/10. It gets you fucking stoned, which is, after all, what you want. It just doesn't give you everything you may have come to expect from an award-winning strain.

Congrats on a fine looking harvest AF , you have done a dam fine job with the plants .You did a good job on the smoke report.I know just what you mean Its a head high and not so much of a body high .Sound like it does the job and thats the main thing.

why would you wash the plants off in the shower, that would seem to encourage mold and at the same time wash away trichromes..just wondering...otherwise they did quite well for limited direct sunlight.

sonofgunder: I worried about that too, but I risked it because the thought of smoking dirt, dust, bird poop, and who even knows what else in my weed freaked me out. I didn't see any evidence of mold during the drying process.

As an added note, the post-cure dry weight of this grow was about 4.5 oz (130 grams). Definitely enough to last me through the long cold winter ahead

AF- -That is an awesome grow buddy. even though I have the 100w in the back room I think I will have to compete with house plant space on the window sill. Very good job. Too bad you couldnt take it all the way. Try and get your hands on some Northern Lights. Good high and doesnt smell.

Did you ever find any seeds throughout your buds?
Saw a few male flowers, but sounds like you got it
taken care of.
Did you find mold on the insides of tighter buds on main stems?
I had a mold issue where the inside buds on the main stems would
start to die off and cause bud rot/mold. Since then I've always meticulously
checked through the tight buds
