DP Fem'd White Widow

I like the set up what got me was the WW. I am just dieing to try that strain.

Your time does seem short but not over all since your growing from clone it has got to cut down on the time over all.

I look forward to your next pics.

Nice job:D

These particular WW's do have a short maturity, I have 2 different phenotypes of this plant. one is ready at 49 days 12/12, the other a week later. The later one is a little frostier and the bud formation on the plant is focused more to the top of the stems.
Works well with my schedule.

I get bud formation on both about 8 days into 12/12.

By the way one of the Skywalker/WW hybrids I have is going hermie. I'll post a photo tomorrow when the balls are real obvious.

Light was good so heres the hermie

Ive grown DP's white widow a few times now (amongst other versions) and i must say that sofar its been the best WW.
Last WW i grew was from WWWeb, the pot was great, however the yeild was so so poor. IMO DP's is better overall from the 3 ive grown. (forgot who was the other version)

I've been using these two WW moms for 2 1/2 years. Best yield was 26 oz from 15 plants. I'm also very happy with the quality. It is always a crowd pleaser. It was a Cup winner several years ago and I do believe it is one of the most stable Fem'd products. I've never had a hermie with these DP fem'd WW's.

Will still try growing out the Skywalkers I have left. Don't have too much hope for the hybrids though. The one that is left may not be a good yielder if it stays female.

I'll post it's pics when the buds develop a little better

Sounds about right, i think i managed around 21 oz with DP WW, i ran it a couple of times yeilding around the same both times. IMO and from the other widows that ive grown since, that was quite a good yeild for WW
I sog'ed em in nft under 1 x 600 hps, 1 cola per plant, 16 plants.
I have to say though mine hermied, not all of em but the ones i liked the most, they didnt hermie till around 65 days + and the ones im talking about came down at 70 days (sounds long in comparison to yours i know) and hadnt dropped any pollen from them sacks anyway, even if it had it was so late in the cycle that seeds wouldnt have time to develope any. This pollen might actually be all female, never did keep any though.
Unfortunatly i didnt find a pheno that finished quicker than 8 weeks, that being the fastest of DP's i found sofar. I have some growing now in veg as i really like WW.
How are yours in the Trichome department? This is something that i found wasnt very consistant with them and i had to grow quite a few females to find one with the frostiness you expect because of the descriptions and its name.
Hopefully ill get a quicker pheno this time round, one with the frosting aswell :) .
Ive got some particularly fat leaved indica looking ones this time round too, they make for the best yeilders no doubt. Some of them sativa types are quite poor yeilders from wat ive seen.
Ill be keeping an eye on ya thread from now on, ill get some pics of mine up soon too(camera is broken atm, should have it fixed by nextweek, cant be without my camera for too long:D)
Goodluck anyway mate.
Later,

Took me a while to find 2 moms with the phenos I was happy with. 1 is frostier than the other but the quality is the same.
I had tried DP'd fem'd Blueberry and had a lot of late stage hermie with that, as well as a comparably low yield. Late stage hemie is a natural trait for many female plants that don't get any fertilization. And is amplified by the genetic mod of a fem'd plant.

You may find you can hvst your WW earlier than 70 days. I use a Lumagny lited micro and have based my harvst time on the amber color of the trichs and how quick the rate of change is. They continue to color up when cut and hung so I factor in the 5 or so days of hang time when I cut them. I try to catch them when all are cloudy and just a very few have gone amber.

here's a recent bud

The flash belies the color of the trichs. But they are quite ready.
