Double Tent Perpetual Harvest

After months of back and forth on ideas, it has come down to the final days before I have everything I need. Just waiting on my tents and seeds (Herbies awesome sale got like 35+ for 200$ us). Which brings me to my question, I will have a 3x3 and a 4x4 secret jardin darkroom andwill be using a 4 and 8 piece rootspa system. I really really want to have a perpetual harvest of some level but wanted ideas to keep weight up while not sacrificing variety. My first thought is to run the 8 in the 3x3 with my cloner in there. 4 mothers(8? having 2 in half the system?) and 4 in veg to about 24", then use the 4 set in a scrog and depending on strain harvest every 8-12 weeks. Any other ideas? Id like to have about 3/4-1 pound per harvest.Ive also considered the opposite with 2 mothers(4?) And 2 in veg then push them to flower every 2 weeks in the 8 piece and harvest 2 plants every 2 weeks? Any ideas are welcome. Lights are a 400 switchable and dimmable and a 600 same way. Have HPS for bith now and will be picking up a MH or 2 after I run my autoflowers out. Thanks

Got everything in today but seeds. Tracking info says it's close though!! I have a friend from out of town coming to help set everything up tonight. Will post pics (if I figure it out lol) tomorrow or the next day. After im locked in on my set up with dry runs I will start a journal and pop seeds.

nice looking setup. clean too. I use double tents in the past, one for veg and one for bloom. worked great.

yeah, i keeep my entire garden in a spare bedroom and in that room i run 2x 4x4 Secret Jardin DR120's on a flipbox in a barebulb vertical setup with single 600HPS bulbs in each tent, ...each tent has 8 plants potted up in 6liter coco hempy buckets and i feed KISS style usning NOTHING but Jack's Pro Hydro.

...i run these 2 bloomrooms such that i harvest one tent per month, approximately, ...doing both at once turned out to be way too much work at one time for this lazy old stoner. ...anyway, that means i'm running a 16 plant perpetual grow with 8 plants in each tent surrounding a single 600 and i routinely pull between 12 and 16 zipz per tent like clockwork. ...i'm also a patient with a card but i'm over my limit by a fair bit so i'm exploring ways to lower my plant count without losing any yields. (the truth is though that i have been civilly disobedient in ignoring this particular law since 1969 so being over my limit now isn't something i sweat too much about)

...oh yeah, to support and feed those 2 bloomrooms i also run a third tent as my veg/mother/cloning op with an 8bulb T5HO as the sole light.

...actually, in the interests of total disclosure i don't actually do my cloning in that third tent, instead i bought a cheap assed little cab and modified it to give me a dedicated space for my cloning and seedstarts.

...keep in mind that this growing thing, this hobby of ours, it kinda 'grows' on you so don't be surprised if a year from now your operation is at least half again as large as it is now.

Just an idea.....

I run 8 strains in a TINY GL40 tent and a GL80. The key is NOT to keep mothers. Just keep cloning. All my strains were grown from seed by me so you don't have to worry about strains crashing after being clones a million times.

What I do is trim my "moms" as much as i need to to keep them small, and then if I decide to make a run of that strain, ill take a few cuts, kill the "mother" and then take a few cuts from those new cuts once they have vegged and when Im about to fiip them to 12/12. Then I can keep the gene pool going without having a dedicated mother.

I have been very successful using this method, and with a little planning and foresight, you can have 8+ strains of perpetual cycle in SMALL spaces.

Thanks alot guys. Im hoping I get some good keeper phenotypes but if not I will be cutting them away. I will be ultra selective. Getting more impatient each day waiting on these seeds.... And tomorrow is sunday come oooon monday

Made a couple sound deadners for my exhaust fans. Running them through a full cycle today to check temps

Sorry I havent updated in awhile, but life and all... Onwards! Since last time I scrapped the sound deadners as it was out of the tents and I didnt like how it looked messy. I decided to run my filter and fans on the floor of my grow space. While this does take some sq ft on the floor in my tents, it doesnt affect the canopy and made the most sense in my setup. And lastly after waiting forever (like 14 days but it seemed like a year lol) I got my seeds! Got 40 total and I started 10 last night in 1 inch rockwool I had soaked for a few hrs in ro water phd to 5.8-6. I started 3 Heavyweight Dream Machines, 3 Heavyweight Strawberry Cheesecakes, and 4 Dinafem Auto Northern Lights to have something to harvest when my fem seeds are just ready to flower. Anyways not sure if I will start another journal I may just keep it here if thats cool? Anyways wish me luck!
