ive had problems with that in the past. i would usually just pick out the caterpillers and kill them as i am not a fan of spraying anything in flowering. i hate those bastards, but at least its not spidermites!
ive had problems with those tiny worms (not caterpillars) burrowing into the stems and eating them from the inside out.. once they die (in the stem/bud) is where we find the moldy spots, last summer, my wife was breaking up a big bud of a friends outdoor harvest, and whaddayouknow, lol.. she throws the bud across the room, jumps on the couch standing up and yells..
.. 3 tiny little worms all in a makeshift nest inside this nice bud...
i took a pic and put it up on OG, someone said it was a " ______ borer" worm.
(i forgot the first word, but its not a "corn borer" )
.. alot smaller and white, almost like a maggot or something..
damn joe that baby is yeilding for you my friend keep up the great work oh and keep the, photos coming. how bouts a few dried bud shots when they done hanging...
