Chamba thanks again for the reply, and after reading it I can see your point. She is in for a long cure now and, as I mentioned, only time will tell...DD
Then you may have been able to really grow out
the buds like chamba said........nice report boy's!!
Maybe ill get some down here as it may feel at home!
i like that last luang shot doobie, its almost like you can see the "electricity" of the high with the pistils agains that dark back ground. if bottle rocket felt like a hammer to the head i can only image the effects of that girl, im looking forward to hearing your long-cured results buddy.
Great to hear that you have medical benefit from this landrace strain.
The buds look beautiful, but Chamba is right: You should have waited a few more weeks until harvest, at least from what I can see in the pictures.
The turn gets more complex, balanced and normally also longer lasting with increased ripeness.
Some of those pure Sativas seem to flower forever, and even tough patience is the key, it can be very hard to wait long enough, especially if you need the space for other projects.
I´m curious how they will finally turn out after a longer cure, but hey- seems like you´re allready in love with those buds anyway!
I´m going to sprout some Laos Sativa seeds during the next days, and your smoke report and pictures gave me an idea of what I could expect, even tough I´m not sure wheter we have the same line.
I got my Laos from our kind fellow KcJones.
We were talking about landrace Sativas, and, out of the blue, he offered to share a few of those beans with me.
(Thank you so much KC, check your PMs btw...)
Gonna ask him for further details on this one, all I know so far: it´s a Sativa from Laos with rather long flowering time, but as he said, a real treat for every Sativa lover.
Spice thanks for the input, I appriciate everyones helpful comments. The Luange has been curring in jars for just under two months now and I tried some on a few friends last weekend. The comments all positive like..."couldn't believe how long it lasts", I heard a lot of "WOWS" and a few "Jesus".... a seasoned smoker commented "very nice, very different"...so at this point I guess I'll update the thread in another month...thanks again for your views and posts...DD
