my bag seed. supposedly sour d. finished at 63 days cause i flushed too early.. they had only water for 33 days..

Very true. As the saying goes: You can't polish a turd...well, you can try, but...

http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-polishing-a-turd.html

mythbusters polished full of turds into beautiful balls of polished turd.

somelike on the reflectivity scale. chrome rates at 90 and they polished a dirt ball, turd ball, and fulla stuff shineier than chrome, one rated 170... forget which.. its pretty sweet.

back to bag seed. i agree you cant grow shit genetics into better genetics but you sure can polish a turd.

I've got over one hundred bagseeds from some of the crappiest mexican brick weed I've ever smoked. Full of seeds in one zip.

I want to give these seeds a chance and some love but some have told me not to mess with them since I have decent genetics as an alternative. My problem is I have a small grow area and if the bagseeds are sativa and flower forever, do I really want to commit my grow area for a really long flowering sativa that might not produce very well?

What's a person to do?

@HobbyGrower - Get your seeds to somebody who lives in a frost-free area. He can put the seedlings outside in the spring and not worry about it flowering all fall and even into the winter. Then, you can trade him some of your indoor indica for some of his outdoor sativa.

You've probably got some great genetics in the Mexican brickweed. Have you thought of growing out seeds for the males, and crossing with your "proven genetics" female? Take your time with it, and over the next few years you could end up with a variety of crosses/back crosses. The possibilities are limitless.

I'm on my third grow of nothing but brick weed seed grows. The plants always have a lot of variations, some are more potent then others.

My next round is named genetics finally, I'll see the difference in stone.

So, what did you decide to go with?

As someone with three bagseed grows under your belt, I'm sure there are many who would like to hear what you have to say when you grow out your name-brand genetics.

Please check back and let us know.
