HI!
I will try to be as short as I can.
OK,
I'm growing for about 2 years now. I use:
Fertilizers:
- BIO BIZZ (Grow, Bloom and Topmax)
Space:
- 4x4 (120cmx120cm)
Light:
600W HPS
Soil:
(I test them some) usually plagron light or grow, or smth ordinary just to have low PPMs and PH about 5.7-6.3)
Water:
- about 7 PH i leave it in bucked for about a day so 2water drops as low as 6.7 or smth
Fan:
360 m³/h.
Temperatures:
min 20C, max 28C
Humidity:
min 32%, max 45%

i hope i did not forget something.

now my question is, i did about 9-10 grows for now, I allready reached 0.75 gpw, nad last 3-4 grows i cant beat 0,5 gpw.

My girls are rly looking so healthy during grow, nice green color. I'm practicaly doing everything the same (or even better) as i was doing on 0.75 gpw grows. (i have history of how much nutes did i use at that time). And i cant beat 0,5 gpw no more.

The thing is my buddz were much bigger back in time. Now there are to much empty spaces between them.

I apologyse for my grammar mistakes. Any comment will be much appreciated.
TY

hi mate,

hope u well.
wait for the pros to chime in, but in the meantime, thought id mention some factors to consider -

1/ bulbs - have they been replaced? perhaps bulb is dated?
2/ temps - temps look fine, but is that the day and night temps?
3/ ph pen - calibrated recently? checked?

thats the basic things I would check first.
Hope it helps, and hope the pros come and sort ure issues out asap. Hang in there, good luck on the next few. Im sure you will get it all sorted, and be back to winning ways..

Stay safe.
Peace

hi again!
@sticky hands
1. bulb was replaced recently,
2. those are min (dark), max (light) temps
3. no, my PH broke about 1y ago, but i had allways same resoults before, and i think this is not the problem (also girls are looking rly healty)

Any pest? RAs can wreck yields. Might not know they are there if you don't closely check your soil... Just a thought.
Good luck.

@bulln: same strain yes (next grow i will change even strain to BB and WW - sensi)
@ Jimmy: i think not, well I use those yellow sticky papers, and i dont have a problems... also, i think if they're looking so fckin healty and rly that green rich color (u know what I mean :) ... there should not be a problem. I may find some spider time to time, but he seem not to hurt em.

somewhere i read that, strees in l8 stage (say end 6 start 7 week of flowering), help to increase bud size/up to 20% weight, and I kind of believe it. Coz i was thinking back then when i rly flush em out hard (say 5x pot size of water), 10-12 days before harvest, there was major difference. Buds were start to become rly huge, and hard, also many yellow leaves (coz girls ate all food from it).

Well my point is, when i start to use fence, I was unable to flush em hard, so i just water them up 2-3 days earlyer so (12-14 days before harvest). The difference is buds did not get so much bigger, nor havier and there was almost no signs of yellow leaves. (But the taste of weed did not change), and stuff remained same quality.

So maybe some comments on that opinion? could this be a reason for aditionall 0.1-0.2 gpw???
TY :)

Mate if it were me I'd stick with what I'm doing and try to achieve consistency before experimenting with methods that aren't universally accepted. That's just me though.

There's a lot of variables with a soil grow so there's lots of things it could be. Your plants do look pretty healthy though a light off pic would be easier to see what colour they are (use flash or a normal coloured light).

How's your watering in flower? Are you letting them dry out properly? Overwatering is very easy to do.

How's your airflow, not just the speed of your fan but how much fresh air from outside gets to them?

I'll be honest if yield/efficiency really is a big concern for you (and these days it should be) think about switchig to vert or even coco (or both) if you're not stuck on soil. Those things definitely will get you closer to the gram per watt no question.

@superconductor
My watering is just fine, i water them big time when soil become rly dry.
About air flow, this concer me a bit, because this might be a reason, why my yield droped. Because I must have window closed during day time (coz noise) so i have window open about 12h/day.

I must tell U I just swap to vertical system, right now I'm on my 1st. vert grow, but I swap to vert on beggining of 3rd week of flowering stage. So I might not get best results. But so far looks good (4rd week). I'm using cooltube, and have light-flower distance about 30cm (22 inc), and i must say looks pretty empty but there sure is bud next to bud, so it might be just matter how u look. However this is how it looks like 1 week ago.

i know it looks kind of empty since I cut most of the fun leaves, lettin light to reach buds.
:woohoo:

Often overlooked but harvest is directly related to size going into bloom. Are you vegging them smaller than before?
