That's the interview series, but the specific interview where Rob talks about the amount of plants they have patents on was removed, I still have the link saved.

The Sativex was being pushed and tested here, and it failed, but it got my interest up as Governments here were so anti cannabis, yet they tried to get a pharma product threw.

Sativex uses 2 patented plants, 1 is extremely high in THC the other is extremely high in CBD you mix 1 part of plant A and equal parts of plant B and you get a 1-1 mix of THC -CBD to make the extract.

That started the hole high CBD trend what a great product to put forth to pro prohibition governments call it medical claim it won't get them high and you're in.

This maybe?

That was wonderful. I heard him say licensed to GW and I find nothing unusual about that. I cherished my RCC books. I still have Hashish and gave away my second copy of Marijuana Botany to a young grower and I hope it helped him.
The coolest info in this video for me is this: I started smoking pot in VA. in 1977. I was surprised to hear that RCC started in 1971. I am not in the Golden Circle or of the golden era where today's doings were just dreams. But I was right behind them and that makes me feel good. Thank you to all the Vietnam Vet pot smugglers who made this happen for me.

This thread makes me think of Governor Youngkin and the idiot Republicans who have made sure Va. is last in line in any pot economy. Morons. When we try to get a slice of pie we find out how far behind we are to worldwide conglomerates that control the pot industry. No Virginian hardly is making money and the cops family and friend dealers are cleaning up while cops bust the competition.

So they are "post-Sativex era".

You just knocked it out of the park. The Wave thread has it all there. Everything. I remember. Everything about why I love this skunk is in that thread. I've seen it before or one like it. The best part is the descriptions of the seeds as being old. But room temperature old or refrigerated old? I always thought he probly gave them away because they were old. I just collected enough pollen to keep it going if it keeps. I have 15 or 16 original c.2003 seeds that I made outdoors.
I feel quite emotional reading those old posts. This skunk is not sweet. It's not Thiol either. whoever wrote that is uninformed and was quipping from the Cannabible. The terpene evolution from veg to cured flower is amazing. This is breeder Gold! The person who said it best: "A classic."

It's one thing to know what it's worth to me, it's a whole other story to know what it's worth to the industry giants who created it and made it the legend it is.

I'm not sure what year exactly, around 2008...I was guerilla growing and several strains in a patch under trees including the skunk. My skunk females were last thing to flower. I wasn't making seeds...I would let a little pollen go at the onset of flower and get a few seeds instead of a zillion. But since the skunk females were so late only a few seeds were made. The skunk became endangered here right then. Then a bust in 2015. Then the discovery of mislabeled seeds in 2021. And my recent failed attempt at open pollination because 3 of 4 males threw pistils under bright LED. Now there's 15 or 16 seeds left and I am stuck in VA. on probation. And have been effed with hard by the Apartied Nazi Sadist government here.

Sounds like a change in scenery is something you may want to consider. Freedom is more prevalent in other places no VA. You are in a tight spot bro.

I'm not allowed to leave VA., on probation, country Nazi pukes have me by the balls. They've ruined my life and I am thinking about going underground but I am old now. Not the same to just hit the road now. Not economically feasible either.

If anyone can dig up the post that Sam made about the different lots of skunk he had and what year they were produced. We need to understand this guy made enough seed to fill oil drums each run. There were only a few actual big pollinations of skunk throughout the years.

There was a rfk skunk that has ancestors w/sour but was more Hawaiian and sweeter
Then idk if the fairfax fourway is considered a skunk but w/genetic make up it may have been
A bit foggy on that
But also I got rks bid from Va
I’m a DMV native
Four-way was a Sensi Seeds strain. Some Shiva Shanti, Skunk, Northern Lights....? Something like that.

Old VA. stuff. Preservation run. 11/13 from germination. A few keepers to investigate. The cuts sinsemilla will look much nicer than these tortured twice pollinated plants. Someone said the cheese is double serrated. (#6)

This is a beautiful Skunk of some sort. Very sticky. It is dry potting every day. I may have to water twice a day. Can't wait to run the clone of this when the seed run is over. #4.

The short more indica phylotaxy... If this thing cures without the gassy, hashy, dirt, musk, earth terps...it will be a potential winner. Not a good photo. It's developing fat flowers.
It's hard to know wtf these crosses are and the findings are not in! There could be a surprise or two in the genetic make up.

It doesn't mean they were post- Sativex. The seeds were old in 2001.

Good luck on that one.

Skunk VA of Chemdog fame just did a podcast on first smoke of the day where he talks a lot about Virginia. You may dig it.

I was just getting ready to write Haights when he said it. I lived it. Richmond? Wtf? Do I know this guy? He mentioned the Nigerian Kandahar and I grew that. Pretty sure that cut came from Mike G. Superskunk makes me think of Mike and Mark. Mike G. was the grower that showed me that VA. is as good as California for outdoor growing if you know your environment.
Deadheads were intrepid travelers. I might actually know this guy's people he's a little younger than me. I left RVA in 1995. Struggling with heroin addiction.
