well i have been reading up on things here and there and was wondering if any one could answer some questions on how to grow ? i down loaded the magazines to the web site and read a few of them in one there was some info on how to do things but wasn't very clear to me (key words to me).

ok here is what i read for starting seeds i can use potting soil with fertilizer no stronger then the following 16-10-10 for seeds that is. if my facts are correct i let these seeds grow like this with out any additional food until 2 weeks in then i think i transplant them from smaller pots to bigger ones in a mix of the following correct me if i am wrong please.

i am to take
5 gallons potting soil

1 cup bone meal

1 cup blood meal

1 gallon perlite

mix those ingredients and add my transplants to a 4 gallon pots let them sit in this for 2 to three days then start to add in some kind of fertilizer???? i am not sure what i should add in at this point if any one could help me out i would be grateful.

then i am not sure what else i do i am trying to get this down to the details i need to grow plan and simple i need to know how much water and when to water? how much fertilizer and when?

thanks to any one who can help out

I do well with two gallons of perlite to every five gallons of peat moss. I cannot comment on the organic additives as I do not grow that style.

Read all the 'stickies' at the top of the "Indoor Soil" Forum and do additional research on any subject you come across that you don't understand completely.

It's a good start. :D

Everything you need to know about growing is on these boards... you just need to dig through the crap to get it. :D

start seeds in plain soil.

fertilize very lightly after a few leaves are showing

switch to amended soil after plants are 8" tall

Starting with fertilizers/nutrients may burn your seedling, I would wait until you have 1-2 sets of leafs before giving it a light mixture of nutrients (1/4 to 1/2 strength at first then gradually increase to full strength)
