Does this look ready to Harvest ?

Hi Everyone

as this is my first grow, I'd appreciate some advice as I'm at (or very near to) Harvest I think.

The strain is Himalaya Blue Diesel, an AF Dwarf strain which says 'on the packet' 8-10 weeks.

This one is now 9 weeks and about half of the pistels have turned amber. The trichnomes are still white, but I can't figure out (even using a loupe) if they are milky white or transparent - in the pics I see online and in books the milky and transparent ones both look the same to me !

The Calyx's are also looking very ripe, so I'm tempted to harvest but want to make sure I'm not jumping the gun by a week or so, so any and all advice will be gratefully received.

Thanks

i would let it go at least another week! at least till you see 1 amber, since you cant tell the diff. between clear/cloudy (i got the same problem)

imo wait for the hairs to recede atleast halfway back in before you even start looking at trichs. look how fat the single pre flowers are up the main stem......do you all buds look that swollen? this next couple/few weeks will be the hardest for you. they just dont look ready (for me) but its you who will be smoking them so only you can tell

Another week or two. Most of the fan leaves should be yellow or dead by the time the trics turn amber. Pinch a small bud if you're anxious to give it a try.

thanks everyone. Most of the fan leaves are already yellow and dead and all the buds are v. swollen (what does buds that swollen mean in terms of when to harvest btw)

Hopefully another week should see it ready (!!) - before I knew about the amber trichnomes, I would have harvested anyway just by looking at the amber pistels so its good (I guess) to show patience !
