i have a 60x100 scope but i cant see anything moving on my samples but these leaves are starting to scare me as i go into flower...

could this curling just from being over fed? im growing in coco and have been for years. the plants in question are all of the same variety and im not seeing it on other plants.

The mites themselves are very hard to see. Their eggs are translucent spherical-elongated, and have spots/spikes on them and are very easy to spot. Unless you see eggs you dont have them. It looks overfed to me I've seen crazy leaf curls before. Flush.

hey i appreciate the quick response

ive read and seen a lot of the pictures on line and like lots of people i see small little bubbles but cant tell if its just glands or egg sacs.

its totally possible ive over fed. these plants were in small containers for a long time and had quite a few dry cycles that led to build up of salts id assume and

I DID just start using ful power (humic acid) in every watering so maybe that unlocked some food???

Yes, I'm sure of it. When I flush I do 1/4 strength nutes, 3x the medium volume, and 5ml/g of cal/mag

LOL thanks dood. Im no newb but at the same time i realize everyday i hardly know anything

im still very discouraged by the extreme curl on the leaves

will continue to give my plants iso foliars and green cleaner until flower is 2 weeks deep

Honestly, it does look like BM damage. I have just learned that I have them as well, after flushing, adjusting Ph, researching plant viruses, etc. Are you seeing yellowing and even brown in the new growth? I can guarantee if so that it's broad mite damage. Research the best way to treat BM, cuz I'm quite sure that's what it is. Good luck you you, I've made a little headway since yesterday...Let me know if you want detail on what I am doing...

Nope, it's not, and besides, diagnosing pest damage without seeing pests or their eggs is never a smart thing to do. Henceforth there have been no eggs seen. They are easy to spot.

Since you have bm damage I recommend the following: wettable sulfur thru atomizer up to wk 1-2 of flower [no trichs], buildasoils essential mix atomized, these two are proven to work, I take it a step further and use pfr-97 even though my rh does not exceed 65%. I spray almost daily, now every 2. You could add neem oil to this regimen and it's still all organic. I also ordered a. swirskii a predatory mite to clean up the rest. Good luck dude.

You need a better scope, if flushing and bringing your nutes down doesnt help then you know its something else. Get a better scope. What is your ipm regimen? Maybe start implementing mine above for peace of mind. Sulfur and essential oil is cheap if you have an atomizer. Your plants would look worse...they would be curling up dead in a matter of days...crumpled leaves, leaning plants, ravaged stunted look, nope, I'm sticking with my theory here.

They are VERY hard to see. 60X is what I use. Sorry I can't post close up pics, but I'll show you what my plants are doing. If they look like this, then you have BM, sorry to say. I am new to this board but not a noob. Hope this helps!

I am new to this so I can't figure out how to add a pic, I think I have to make an album here first before I can upload, but I'll do that now so you can see.

if I'm 6 days into flower, how much longer until id know for sure this is broad mites?

Ok, so if you've ran the genetic before in the same medium, nutes, etc...and this never happened before, then I'd bet a dollar it's BMs. Here are some pics I just took the time to upload especially to show ya. :) I do hope it helps, I started my treatment, I am actually about a week into flower as well. the pics I uploaded are not those plants. They don't look exactly like yours, but they did before I took these pics. They looked burnt up, that was my first symptom I started treating as a nute burn.

I hit the new growth with wettable sulfur yesterday, then used Met52, which is a bio that can be used until day of harvest, and can also be considered a part of an IPM routine, so no harm if it comes up that you don't have the BM. I still think you do, given you've ran the same set up before with no issue.
