Don't know if we have the same Dstar because I wouldn't dream of passing this cut on and Pico I don't know if u mean strength of high or quality because one thing the Deathstar is is very potent. However, I do know of a few seasoned heads (including myself) who will pass on it simply because it can be overwhelming.

One thing I do know for a fact about the Deathstar. She is very touchy, not forgiving, and will separate the real growers from the amateurs. I have seen it vary in quality from scraggly buds with hardly any smell to insanely potent fruity, skunky, fuelly, rubbery smelling buds that ooze resin and are sticky to the touch even after a long cure.

Sorry in advance if that last post offended anyone. I just think a quality strain should get the recognition it deserves.

Nah I think it's a great strain, I smoked it almost every night when I had it. But there are a lot (if forced w/the decision) I'd rather smoke like a bubba or a giesel or a kksc or a banner or a nice og or straight ecsour or ogre, etc. etc. but the appetite stimulation, the smell/taste, and the rush @ the beginning of the stone are awesome.

i just smoked w this cat from oh... and my first impressions (so-so) might have been off-base... he sampled me a cut of 'death star' that was different than the one i had from local sources... his was pretty distinct & good (for the high)... certainly worth another smoke is the way i saw it. heads up, some of the 'deathstar' in the d, might not be.

it really is the stinkiest herb i've ever come across, just pure overpowering literally will stink up an entire block. luv it though & the huckleberry -dstar cross is great as well

Just started some Jedi Kush (Deathstar x SFV OGK) from an unnameable
source. We'll see how they do...

I can vouch for this. I made a half ounce o deathstar from my mentor into six and a half grams of shatter. I've got good returns on bho made from my mentors buds, but never a 45% return. I've personally seen test results from ironlabsllc of the deathstar at over 29% total thc. It's smell was such a strong skunkyness it burnt my nose and got my house searched by the police, cuz the neighbors thought my ounce smelled more like ten pounds. If you've had deathstar with a mild fruity smell, it wasn't deathstar or it was butchered. I've noticed the high is ruined if you flower over seventy days, it likes sixty for that psychedelic hyperventilating punch I've grown to dislike, but no one else seems to be passing it up unless they have heart health issues, cuz that first hour gets racey

You know the deathstar when you see it, even if youve never seen it before. Its one of those that you remember for years. When its done right, and fresh, you can take a whiff of it, and it instantly makes you want to do the funky dance. You all know what im talking about, dont act like you dont. ;)

She was never easy for me to get right in coco..threw her in live soil and its like a while diff plant. Maybe that has part of it not many get her right before tossing

This is my cut of DeathStar that I got straight outta Ohio!!!which wasn't to hard for me as vi live right next door, from my understanding there are 2 cuts of the DeathStar floating around one which I have is the gas cut which is more SD leaning and would be the real cut and the fruitier cut which leans more ss.. and I've heard that the ss leaning cut/fruity cut is not nearly as good... This all being off what I have heard,I will report back as soon as I get my cut big enough ta take clones off of then I'll be running a full 5X5 tent with 1200watts ta see how these ladies are!!!

Deathstar is the only strain that i currently have. Was gifted to me back in 2012. It can be a pain to dial in correctly and eats Mag like crazy, But when grown right is one of the best. Stings your nose with fuel and fruit. I think most people toss it for something easier to grow and less flowering time instead of 9-11 weeks. I have a couple of them at one week flower. I will take some pics later and share.

Meh, the Ohio cut of deathstar is overrated. The best star to come out of that area is the original darkstar. And Thats from the mitten. The CO cut of deathstar stomps on the oh cut.
