for some reason, whenever i smoke weed, one of my eyelids sort of swell up and makes me look like im really really tired or something. in the past, ive had a chalazia on that eyelid and also an acute infection. that was about ~3 years ago and its gone. But whenever i smoke my eyelid swells a bit. ive read that weed dilates the blood vessels. can this be related to what im experiencing? is this indication of any problem or is this regular? i havent seen this happen to any other people who ive smoked with.

YES THIS HAPPENS TO ME AS WELL. Ive been trying to find someone else that this happens to and NO ONE else experiences it. It didnt start happening until after I got pink eye one time. and its only ONE eye that it happens to and it gets swollen and I can feel it. It hurts. Have you found a solution for it or do you just deal? Its embarrassing. I dont like social smoking because I look like an alien. lmao

Because of the past eye trauma you may be having an allergic reaction. The past injuries may have made the eye more sensitive to allergens (which may be something in weed) and it’s trying to protect itself. Does it happen with all weed or anything else?

Me too. Funny misconceptions there. I'm allergic to highland oaxican gold. A genetic in: Mexican Sativa's, train wreck, and especially flo. Its a very popular breeding genetic.

Now this doesn't mean I can't smoke it By any means. In fact those are all some of my absolute favorite stains(at least flo is and I'm most allergic to that)

what this allergy means is when I brush up against a vegging plant with bare skin I get a slight hive/irritation. Very mild no real itch usually. It also means when I roll joints of flo, the pollen floating around is super powerful and makes me sneeze a lot. And if I rub my eye..... God damn! It burns and itches. Getting pollen/Kief in the eye sucks. But as I said I love to smoke that strain In particular so I'm not fully allergic to it. Just the plant materials

i have something similar.
a spider bit me in the eyelid about 10 years ago. ever since whenever stoned or really tired i get a droopy eyelid.
asked my doc about it and he said: nerve and tissuedamage caused by the spidervenom.
nothing to worry about, just looks weird.

my eyes dont get red, but when im high my right eyelid always sags down and that right eye appears smaller than my left, its always a dead give away

My one eye swelling up and hurting and feeling tight still happens. Over the years it's made my eyes permanently smaller even whenever i'm not high. I went to the eye doctor high and I got chronic dry eye eye drops, it makes my eye not so watery and red anymore but the tightness and swelling of the eyelid is still the same. Pink eye messed up my eye and now it's extremely painful everytime I smoke. It's terrible.
