Because someone is an American Citizen does not mean that they do not have a legal status in Canada??? Landed immigrants, dual citizenships, refugees, or whatever, but you are right if the act states that you have to have a legal status in Canada then obviously there is no arguement to that...

I am not saying that you are lying bro, I am trying to iron out the facts... I work with dudes on a daily basis that have been denied, actually denied because they did not meet the requirements set forth in the act, and that is exactly what the denial letter stated when they recieved it back... People are denied everyday because the program is very exclusive... You have to understand that the Feds hate this program, it was not created to help us, it was created because of a court case in which HC lost

I have to get a card and my doc wants 100 dollars...i think it is fuckin extotion money and realy hate to have to pay it...so if i get denied (ramesy hunt syndrom w/intractable pain) do i pay again???they give me oxys 7 80s a dayso pot is realy a step down in the narcotic dept...fucking government are a bunch of retrded assholes...i hate them...

I think a fee of $35 is what doctors usually charge to fill out forms since its not covered by insurance usually. my doctor has a notice on his wall saying that fees are charged for all paperwork. talk to him about it.

I GOT IT! I told you i would! Says im allowed to have 90 grams dried on me, 675grams stored inside, and im allowed to grow 15 plants inside!!!! FUCKING RIGHT CANADA!

Took about 7 months from talking to the new doctor to getting my license in the mail!!!!

Interesting read here folks. I just want to clear the air a bit here, I am actually a dual U.S./Canadian Citizen Born in Detroit over 50 years ago who has spent the last 31 plus years here working and raising a family. I have my second PUPL card from HC and a third in the renewal stage of their inane process.

I am a member of the TY site with the same name and an activist, take a look around specifically at the "Activist" threads "Letter from Libby Davies" posted by TY Owner Marco Renda. Don't get mad, write her and Minister of Health Leona Aglukkaq, I did and it does cause our plight to be highlighted in Ottawa and begin to address the program's shortcomings.

From all I understand of this lame attempt of making medical cannabis accessible, the Conservative Government has been dragging their feet in fixing it because they are idea loges who oppose cannabis for any reason....yet the courts have imposed natural justice upon the Federal Government.

An "Order in Council" brought forth from the Cabinet table is how the regulations can be changed without going through the drawn-out process of actually legislating it through an Act of Parliament.

In my opinion there should be nearly 5000 letters and e-mails sent by HC card holders anyway.

I am unsure if "Apartmentblower" was referring to me, but I certainly Qualify as an American.

But one thing I just can't seem to find is the requirement of 2 Doctors to sign for the exemption. I have only one and it's worked fine for nearly 3 years now.

oh tip, if you go for more than 3g's a day health canada will call your doc and talk him down to 3g's, so to avoid this just say to your doc that they do not have permission to talk to health canada or anyother agency regarding your prescription.

HEHEHE that sounds like an idea, not sure if ill ask right away.

congrats nightcrawler , I am still going through the process of trying different drugs , my doc wants me to try. I been on malaria pills , and a couple kinds of sleeping pills or pain killers nothing works as good with out side effects , as cannabis. Its difficult to get a signature, from a doc in my part of the country but I will not give up. seems like a long process but to treat yourself legally it worth it ! , congrats again

Ya i went through a couple of doctors. Just takes time. Now im searching for seeds, butthere soo god damn expensive. Trying to get some purple stuff, and a kush strain.
