Do you wash stones

Perlite is green from swick beds
lava rock is muddy from soil

my soil went sodium mad can I wash the stones ? Or do I buy new

Depends on the bag I suppose.

Not sure what you mean by sodium.

Most water soluble compounds should be pretty easy to wash off. Some will do better with hot water.

But probably you got your money's worth in two years.

My last soil went dadt high in salt content so the stones do too as they sat in it
lava rocks and pearlite eh just wondered if I could wash em to be safe wouldn’t wanna add them back filled o salt would kill the reason why I have rebuilt soil

You can wash them but it will take some rounds of washing to make sure they clean. Also, for perlite u need a mesh to strain them, as they will float.

Bloody right took days and still high ppm
many reason clay pebbles hydroton don’t get talked about to use instead of perlite ?
