do you think cannabis frees you from the programming?

I agree that canna makes you more open minded but unfortunately it also seems to make a lot of people very gullible and willing to believe any old shite, as the numerous tin foil hat wearing fuckwits on here prove every day , so i would say canna would make it easier to program people :)

True, it won't just open people's minds.

They will keep asking you if it's dro, bro. Is it dro. bro?

Also, some people are so stupid while they're high, they're never going to figure out a better understanding.

The simply want to get wasted on anything. Alcohol, pills or anything.

If you do show them the way, they'll support it in the most visible and superficial way, to make it look like they support it. They support Marijuana, and being cool.

Bill cooper has a point: They'll believe anything marijuana-related that is good, or that confirms their beliefs.

I believe Marijuana smoke contains carcinogens...
The trichomes housing 80 different plant terpeno-phenols which are all anti-oxidants is key to countering that.

Kinda of a strange question, because, isn't everything we think, every emotion and all beliefs , some form of programming??

We can potentially have more of a choice what we program ourselves with but, regardless, we are all programmed.
" i am not programmed" is in it self, just a program!
The ego is just a bundle of programs, all of our beliefs, thoughts, and emotions.
If we react to anything in our lives, would that be a programed response from some learned experience.
Our minds are like organic, chemical computers.
When we can truly step back from our ego self, our little i ,and experience the infinite that we are connected to, experience the big I, we can start to see the programming for what it is. "Myself in everything, entering the greater myself" Yogananda

I don't put any credence in the clip, but I do think that cannabis can help us overcome the effects of the propaganda we receive since childhood.

Well, if we set out to use it as the mind expanding herb it truly is. That was what we tried to accomplish back in the 60's. It was the rationale behind the whole counterculture movement.

Propaganda is designed to create certainty in the minds of the masses, certainty in beliefs that they don't really understand, haven't actually evaluated. It has emotional hooks, ways of getting us to want to believe. Most of it is authoritarian right wing, although I'm sure that the Soviets had their own versions, authoritarian right wing policy wrapped in revolutionary sloganeering.

Getting high changes our perspective. With that, we're led to question the validity of the whole process of perception, to realize that we have internal filters. The whole point of propaganda is to get us to accept certain filters as our own, never realizing that was the process employed to get us to believe. Propaganda is intended to send us in certain mental & emotional directions, close off other possibilities at the same time. It is subtle, profound, pervasive and effective.

Cannabis disrupts that process. So does LSD & similar drugs. That's really their value, their ability in creating self aware alternate views of reality, different from what we've been taught are "the right way".

That's why authoritarians everywhere are desperately anti- cannabis. They much prefer we use mind numbing drugs, like alcohol, opiates & various tranquilizers. If anything, those drugs allow our base emotions stronger sway, promote the internalization of propaganda.

It's the effort to realize truth that frees the mind. Cannabis just helps that effort out by altering your perceptions slightly and piquing natural curiosity.

F'instance, watching a movie. Usually you will suspend reality to a certain degree and just go along with the story without too much analysis. The brain just goes into story mode and becomes relatively passive and accepting.

Not so with a busy sativa. Now you begin to notice the sets, costumes, script, dialogs and plot lines. The artifice becomes apparent, sometimes so much so, that it ruins the ability to enjoy the film because that passive acceptance is missing. Your observational levels are heightened and the rational mind starts asking 'why?'.

Granted, some peoples minds are wired that way in the first place and that may have a lot to do with the cannabis effect producing that outcome, but it seems to almost be a universal phenomena with using cannabis.

Seems to me that even a dullard will get high and say "I never noticed that before." when watching something or listening to music. The doors of perception open wide and the commonplace now becomes interesting and/or the curiosity of the mechanics needed to produce the object of your attention becomes elevated.

I'm not too sure that the behavior modification meme is that understated. it seems pretty damn obvious to me and always has.
I came of age in the Vietnam era. If you couldn't see through that Govt. bullshit, then you weren't looking very hard. I didn't see Buddhist monks burning themselves because they didn't want to become communists. Big Govt. learned a lesson about letting journalists run loose in a war zone. Too much reality sneaking through the flag waving.

Seems to me that if they're working on mind control techniques, then they're doing a piss poor job of it.
Let's face it. Most people on the left hand side of the Bell Curve don't know, don't want to know, or just don't care what's going on outside their narrow circle of interests.

just the fact that a few are actually examining the question is good.

Robert Anton Wilson was a strong advocate of using a lot of cannabis when exploring and reprogramming yourself. It's my belief that he's quite correct.

Keep it Clean! :D

Funny enough, one of his books is on the foot of my bed.

I will go with both no and yes. It depends on how you use your mind. Are you in control, or are you on autopilot?

It aids auto pilot, and simulates the feeling of flight. So it can be a spiritual aid, or a spiritual crutch, it's what the mind determines and the soul of the user.

It's like dynamite. Selectively it solves problems. Too much, too fast, too soon, and it creates them and causes general destruction.

I think fungi are guaranteed to blow the doors off of control and the limits of understanding.

It's the instant 100% total perspective change that imprints the participant with the lesson - nothing is what it seems, and everything you were so sure was true because you sensed it with 5 senses, isn't as concrete as you thought it was 2 hours ago. Anything becomes possible. Imagination becomes greater. It's like touching god and being aware of it. Or so I've read.

Ironically, to use marijuana is part of a mind control program. Your participation in a movement of people is part of a mind control program. To even call it marijuana and use the word is part of a mind control program.

Herding free people is like herding cats. Herding a slave caste is like herding cattle. Flies to a desert twilight flame. Some kind of hypnotic slaughter. The horror. The horror.

an easy premise to consider is that once you've smoked enough weed to make all of Woodstock jealous and you haven't flipped out or become ill in any way possible then you're bound to realize that your government's been lying to you all along about cannabis.

maybe you knew it on your first puff or maybe just come to realize it on your last, it will open your eyes and make you a savvy skeptic forever.......

This Is What Happens When You Watch TV Mainstream Media News
[YOUTUBEIF]guaLbl_WmVw[/YOUTUBEIF]

well I think people just get the obvious like s4l stated, the government lies about cannabis and if they lie about that they might be lying about more. they are.
they may pay networks to fill your day watching bullshit like the above video illistrates, so you wont pay attention to the important things that happen and the real implications behind government actions.
FFS they tell you being governed means you're free ,they are polar opposites !

You have a major conscious shift after smoking.

I have been crying or in the dumps. Seconds after smoking, I am better.

Was it the drug? Sure, it calms you.

Was it the mental effects of the drug? Yes. Even if you're calm, you still remember why you're mad or upset.

Marijuana is like an adult: It seems it asks you questions, with its shift of conscious. Questions are like answers, always.

Why were you crying? Should you get that upset?

It is silly to get upset and a horrible coping strategy. Look at the positive.

I feel no reason why you can't be happy thinking about a problem. Negativity makes things worse.

It is deleterious and must be met with a positive perspective, because a negative perspective, is only one part of your ego.

How could you have ever let your thoughts get you down that much? What is the reason?

That's funny someone is wondering "what programming?"

Sure, there is your normal television programming.

Like a computer, you put in your code, and something comes out.

Someone just said "I made you say that." It is funny, because the TV also makes you want to do things.

Want to be thin? Save time? Look better? Be better? Be stronger? Be knowledgeable?

It is because you wanted to disagree with him, what you said that. But, as he stated, he is in control of your response, somewhat.

Sometimes there are two items. One is better than the other and you know it. The other person is intent on wanting the one that you want.

What do you do? You feign like the one you don't want, is the one you want.

The other human will think the reason you want that one, is because you've figured it to be better. They don't see it, but they trust you're picking the one you think to be the best.

Reverse psychology.

Now. How can they make you respond?

Well, I don't wear contacts.....but I saw a commercial where a ladie's eyes went blurry while her child was in the backseat, because her lens solution wasn't working as good as the one in the commercial.

Her focus and vision was waxing and waning, in and out. She was driving with a kid.

Now tell me they're not trying to take advantage of emotions?

There is an infomercial that will transform your life, and change it forever. This is an even bigger manipulation than inferring child death.

This is saying you, your life and everything, can be changed by a $20 product.

They sell thousands of facts about health and weight to you. In hopes you can't learn the concept of health and apply it, and hoping you keep wanting to look like the girl on the cover. Who does all these things apparently.

This programming is in everything.

They use fear to say video games are causing violence, but the TV watcher is sitting there watching violent shows..

They say we're making America dumb, then they bring up the stupidest topics to muse about, while telling you their narrative.

Like coffee. It kills you one week, helps you the next.

Nobody has an awesome base of medical knowledge, so they get it from the news. Never a framework, like a health class.

If you knew health, you'd think too much is bad, but it's good for anti-oxidants. That is all a person needs to know.

The news though? Video games and coffee, they'll tell you. Don't look it up. They have experts. You're a lowly human. /sarcasm.

Asperger's is often described as living in a glass house on a playground - you're there with everyone else but communication and connection are limited.
I feel as if I 'woke up' my freshman yr in college when I started smoking cannabis(lot's of DJ's BB amizingly). Its as if cannabis showed me the correct way to look at the world. It took me a while to break down that glass house but I did it. Scary as fuck but so damn worth it - living in ignorance is not worth it.

Cannabis allowed me to look at social situations I was in and recognize what went wrong and where. It allowed me to fully examine my emotions without being overwhelmed and sent into a numbing shock.

I'd love to see a study done where Cannabis(and shrooms, lsd, other psychotropics of nature) are used to treat Autism disorders. I'm sure the scientific community would be pleasantly amazed

studies of this nature are being done as we sit here at our keyboards....just not in this country. my oldest son has Aspergers as well. trouble fitting in, making friends, no inborn BS detector at all. been thinking about taking him camping & sitting around a fire & seeing what happens. he is open to the idea, realizes that he is outside looking in...

AOH, Im glad to hear he's one of the aware Aspy's, though Im sorry to hear he has to have any Asperger's at all. Sounds like he has a great dad to teach him.
For BS detector, the two of you should read Godfather and go over the scenes together - I learned a shitload from that book.
Does he play an instrument? It took me a while to feel confident in my playing to play with others but once I did it was the best decision in my life. Communicating through the medium of music made me confident in being able to communicate with language.

Once Im a fullblown member and have an inbox perhaps you could PM me some info on that research you mentioned.
