Do you mix strains?

Probably been asked before but couldn't find it. Do you mix strains while smoking? I mean in the same day/evening do you mix i.e a blast of OG then a blast of Super Silver Haze etc? Im asking because I have this kind of puritanical streak and always stick to the same strain; in fact it just seems 'wrong' to mix. Where did I get this from?! Anyone else mad as a march hare or are you mixing ?
And, if you are a mixer- what do you mix? Sativas and Indicas or are you loyal to just say Sativas only?

i mostly mix because prefer a different high in the morning and a different one midday and so on.

it's nice to get a handle on a set of characteristics and it's nice to be aware of the vocabulary of additive or synergetic effects as well.

I mix it up...

Grape Ape first thing in the morning...then its WW..then it is on to extracts, mixed in with hash....until bed then it is either RSO, or Bhang to keep my head on the pillow for more than a couple hours.

I don't do "salad" joints typically....Those I keep to one strain.

I totally agree,...I recently noted many of my guys mix there strains with glee!!! I was totally blown away, that these guys grow and store there strains apart, but come actual usage, they just dump strain on strain come time to toke up

So I bought these guys some big cookie jars at Christmas, ...lets see how this goes ....lol
These guys have been growing longer than me, they started in the 60's, and they say they forgot ...lol and don't mind, lol I'll check on the jars in a week or so ..lol

I like to smoke several strains in a smoke session, but each gets loaded separately. Savor each flavor lol. Mixing wrong strains can definitely put you to sleep mid day though.

I always used to mix em' up, and smoke em' together... But now have been doing one certain strain at a time, to see how she does in the high-taste department

my favorite salad was gdp,jack hered (spelling?),and ghost og.the best taste and effects
that mix has the best effects on me.it is delicious tasting but all those strands together offset each other.like the jack can sometimes induced anxiety.the kush out me to sleep.the gdp is not a strong as i like.but all together they made me feel like a king.that's why we call it Caesar salad

The other day my wife (30+ years) asked me if I had more than one kind of weed?

I was like, well yeah. I currently have three. Why? I don't know.

This is from a women who has seen me grow weed for as long as I have known her. I have rolled more than 50,000 joints for her. She has not bought, rolled or loaded a pipe as long as I have known her.

I mix them up Babe, I get tired of the same smoke

import hashish.

Sometimes we'd crumble a Quaalude on top.

Good times.

Now? Yup, always love a salad mix, minus the pharmaceuticals, natch.

I think I would have bought her her own pipe/chillum/bong/vape
by now ...still thats impressive!

My buddies and I do this when we get together for a smoke session. Throw 3-4 different strains and top with kief and hash for a nice big party bowl.

it all depends what im smoking, if I started the day with WhiteFire I useualy smoke it all day through, but else I like to smoke different strains during the day, and sometimes I mix them up in the same joint, some flavours and effects just go very well together.
Once made BHO with some very hazy Neville´s Haze and G13xFig Widow f2 from dankmaster (the most stony plant I have ever smoked), smoked bongs back then, after a hit it felt like someone tried to pull the back of your skull out through your nose and a couple of hours whent by unnoticed
