Hey Chunky, I have literally been checking GLG every several hours the past couple of days to ensure that I don't miss out on your seed drop. I checked this morning after I got up and noticed that only Sluggo was on there. Did Dragboatjeffy just get around to putting that one up or did everything else get snatched up that quick? I have been jonesing for some Scoutbreath to add to the vault.

I would veg it longer than you think you need to then in order to get a decent yield? I see the potential with this one but you need to consider the lack of stretch in flower and overcompensate in veg in order to have the proper sized plant.

I have 3 plants that are pretty tall now. Been vegging for almost 2 months in a 1gln pot. Getting t/p'ed today into 3's and flipped.
You think I should wait another 10 days so it takes root in the 3's abit more?

I'm no expert, and I've only flowered her once now but I would give her a couple days to adjust if you can afford it. Give her a fighting chance before you decide to officially move on.

This seems to be a strain that needs to be well rooted. Some strains do better with a tp, n then have plenty of room for roots to stretch during the flower stretch phase. As chunky has reported, this one does much better with root bound pots. So next time do a lot less veg in the 1 gal n a lot more in the 3 gal(ur finishing size).


Ur 2 month veg in 1 gal's n then tp'ing into 3's, then flipping, is a recipe for small stunted buds, cause this plant needs more root building time in the final flowering pot.


Id veg for a good 20 days or so in the 3's if I were u and wanted to maximize yield off those plants. Top them again if u need to for height requirements. Or go with 2 gallon flowering pots, n only 10 to 15 more days to fill in roots might be a better choice.

the 2 pics on top look like OGKB 2.0. they purple more if the conditions are right.

the 2 tall plants are NOT OGKB 2.0. it has tight internodes, not flimsy ever. of course I always top it too, but they resemble ECSD to me in structure.

to improve OGKB 2.0 yield I top it, stake it to open it up and allow light inside, remove fan leaves to expose bud site during flower.

it doesn't need stakes for support just to make it wider.
I pull all the huge interior fans when I flip then after a few weeks remove excess fans a few at a time to let light in as needed.
It's not fussy.

this is an OGKB 2.0 that didn't get topped and wasn't root bound when flipped. big difference.

I'd agree with MM that you're vegging too long in the 1 gallon. I up pot from solo to a 3 gallon in soil and remember it won't stretch much.

Got my 2.0 in flower finally. I did notice that about the roots as in needing a little more time to fill out. I placed mine straight in 1 gallon pots after they rooted left them in there 2 weeks and straight to 3's. Been in the 3's about a month took that long to fill up with roots. She's been in flower about 2 weeks and y'all right she don't stretch too much, trained right she can get nice and wide.

I have 2 cuts from what was labeled ECSD. I have 1 cut from what was labeled 2.0.
They both grow exactly the same with long flimsy branches and alot of space between internodes. I flowered out the ECSD and 2.0 next to eachother and they're the same plant. Definetly the 2.0.

They're the OGKB 2.0's. Not the ECSD. Ill get the ECSD soon from my friend who passed me the cuts.
